You don't have to read anything. Compared to the Trump haters my sponge cake comments are pretty mild. I have not called Thailand Hitler or a felon 10,000 times.

I would recommend doing a deep search and looking within for the source of your problems.

If I were very wealthy I would likely only spend two or three months of the year in Thailand but since I'm not I'm here 3/4 of the year and I enjoy everyday I'm here.

I used to have more issues than I do now. I worked on my attitude, which was getting in the way of appreciating Thailand for what it is, and was clouding my experience here. Used to stress over stupid stuff, as you can see from some of my past posts. Used to allow the politics to make me angry. Now it is not something I take seriously, just something I comment on, without anger or an emotional investment. Now, I just tend to laugh it off. Spent some real time outside of Thailand recently, and it allowed some clarity and perspective, that I am very grateful for. Now, I just chuckle at most of the nonsense. Water off a duck's back, so to speak.

I was in the US recently and the prices and inflation are mind blowing. The cheapest lunch we have found was $30 for two. That is 1,000 baht, anytime you want something basic. A bag of groceries is 3,000 baht and up.

A friend of mine is looking for an apartment to move to in LA, and really small, simple places are 70,000 baht per month. Nice two bedrooms are closer to 100,000 baht. Decent homes start at 125,000 baht per month. The cost of nearly everything has gone up dramatically. Runaway inflation?

Thailand is still reasonable. It used to be cheap. Has not been cheap for a long time. But, it is still reasonable. I know people who pay 10,000 baht a month for newer 3 bedroom houses in nice towns. In major cities in the US? $2000-3800 a month. That is 120,000 baht!

Friends of mine, who are single, enjoy the company of a young, beautiful woman for a couple of hours, for 2500 baht. In the US? $800 an hour and up, now for a beauty, with alot of attitude.

I could go on and on, all day long. I live at a level here, that I would never be able to live at, in the US, in most of Europe, in Oz, or Canada. ,

I went to a craft beer bar, no customers so left straight away. The lame English pubs are full of old Brits watching Robbie Williams on tv. So so lame.

Some people like Thailand.  Some people don't.  Those who live in a country they do not like generally need to take a look in the mirror and ask why?

The world isn't black and white like that. There's at least 5 different emotions you can feel towards Thailand or any country. The "get on the plane and leave if you don't like it" type remarks is very shallow. Kind of my point. Thailand does not attract deep thinkers.

You don't need to be a deep thinker to understand that if you don't like Dodge................then get out of Dodge.

In the context of those constantly whining about things in Thailand, then it perfectly acceptable to suggest that they find the exit door.

Please do not put quotes on words i never said get on a plane...simply suggested you look in mirror and ask why you choose to live here...options are a good thing and sometimes some self inspection can lead us to better options....of course it helps to be a "deep thinker"....make a list of pros and cons and then think about it and make a decision.

So you want people to love 100% of Thailand or leave? Since when does anyone love everything in Thailand?

i'm afraid I have to agree with you.

Hong Kong, Japan & Taiwan are miles better.

However, if you want your money to go as far as possible (which I most certainly do), then Thailand & Cambodia are the places to be and play around. My HK apartment is already being rented out and is making me a small fortune every month. Gotta have the side hustle in the back pocket as well!

Best regards,

Bob.

Sounds made up.

Only an idiot would continue to twist words like you do.....

Read my lips..... "In the context of those constantly whining about things in Thailand, then it perfectly acceptable to suggest that they find the exit door."

Why do you find it necessary to lie..................i said NOTHING about loving Thailand 100%

You told people to leave. How rude.

Another lie.

Your posts are becoming increasingly moronic  -  do you start drinking early in the morning?

I told nobody to leave. I would happily encourage someone to leave if they ere constantly whining about a place.

Don't drink more than 1 beer a week. I wonder about your thinking skills if you go around accusing people of being drunk for having a more complex view of the world than you do.

You sound grumpy. Not my idea of fun.

Not grumpy at all, just answering your question. Not sure what your issue is but check yourself before you deflect your internal issues toward others. You're the complainer about no life going on here so either go out and start your life or move along if you dont like it here. You wont be missed.  You could go hang out with bob smith and complain to each other for something to do.
