Ukraine is an existential crisis. Putin's theory as put forward in his "On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians" is that the state of Ukraine is illegal and is part of Russia. There is no peace with Putin as long as Ukraine exists.

Trump either knows this and doesn't care because he has his own interests, or is compromised or avoids difficult, hard decisions or he is too stupid to realise.

The Ukrainians are not going to stop defending their land, their houses, their children and their freedom.

Trump continues to spin the situation, throw in ridiculous deflections, parrot Russian narratives and defend Putin's warmongering.

The remarkable thing is how many of his supporters buy it without even asking the simplest of questions. e.g. How will a peace deal be brokered without the involvement of Ukraine? How will any peace be sustainable? What verifications will be in place to prevent Russia using a pause in the fighting to rearm? How can Putin be trusted having shown himself to be completely untrustworthy on many previous occasions?

Bottom line: FAFO.

Now that he has "F***ed Around", Zelensky is about to "Find Out."

He should of shown some humility, respect, and signed the mineral deal with a smile.
Instead?
He's coddled and pampered by the Europeans and UK elites who viscerally hate Russia and Russians, who want to see Russia's demise, and who want war until the last Ukrainian fighting man as well as their own troops are dead.  So now the Trump administration called him out.  He wants to continue the war.  Ok.  So he and Europe and the UK can throw money and men into Ukraine's Eastern Front meat-grinder until there is nothing left. Scream "Article 5" until they are blue in the face.  The US is done with this.

Zelensky should take the hint, retire, and move to his favorite European abode. However, I doubt he will and I doubt he'll be still sucking air when the first flowers bloom in Ukraine.

Bottom line.

US and Russia carved up Ukraine, planned to split the spoils without offering Ukraine anything.  That was 'the deal'.

And they presented that in a very open way, attempting to publicly humiliate the Ukrainian president. In the end it will be bad for the US.

Once again, another person who is living in the past.  Russia does not want the rest of Ukraine, and they certainly don't want any part of the rest of Europe, given the mess it's in.  They want to be part of a new world, looking forward.  Trump realizes that, JD Vance realizes that, and Trump is the one in charge at the White Hose. Trump is the one who will make a deal.  And Zelensky and his advisors, whoever they are, can't see that reality.  Instead, the continue to regurgitate the lies they've been told over the years.  Propaganda works.  But in this case, it can't Trump reality.  FAFO, as they say.  For Zelensky, it's over.  An actor, a dictator, and a madman.  He has no way out, and even Lindsey Graham is telling him he's a dead man.

But that's not "legacy media", aka MSM.

Because f o x was GOP propaganda from the gitgo and never really serious journalism..

But I see they sure pulled the wool over your eyes. 😀

And what are these untrustworthy actions of Putin?

Do you remember the talks last year that Russia weren't invited to? How can you seek peace without 1 side being included.

It is sad and shameful to see the US President and Vice President act so unworthily, resentfully, humiliatingly and aggressively in the face of an ally who is fighting for the survival of his country and his people. Volodymyr Zelensky is a strong and capable leader, who has stood up for his people, and deserves admiration and respect for his fight for Ukraine. The US President and Vice President, in contrast, are a disgrace to the United States and the friendly American people. Totally ignorant and completely devoid of interpersonal skills for dialogue, he has in a short time lost most of Western solidarity and friendship. He has probably also lost all opportunities to gain diplomatic access to Ukraine's mineral resources. The free world needs a new head of state. Donald Trump has become Vladimir Putin's wagging poodle.

If Zelensky was "calm" I'm the dictator of the world.

I'm suspending my Netflix subscriptions and switching to White House coverage.

Actually we have 400 billion dollars credit and it's time to collect.

Here is a pic of the little drag queen / CIA actor getting my tax dollars from Joe Biden and then being told to F off when he comes begging for more ....

Geez, Louise!

You think Trump would be more copacetic about paying a real man like Zelensky to fight for him, like did with Bobby Lashley against Vince McMahon. 😭

Donald Trump did participate in a WWE storyline back in 2007, where he and Vince McMahon had a "Battle of the Billionaires" at WrestleMania 23. But Trump didn’t actually wrestle—he chose Bobby Lashley to fight on his behalf, while McMahon picked Umaga. Lashley won, so McMahon had to get his head shaved.

As for Donald Trump being champion of the universe—I think that title still belongs to the likes of The Undertaker or maybe even Roman Reigns these days.

But hey, in the world of wrestling, anything is possible!

I think they still falsely call the US sponsored 2014 coup as a "conspiracy theory". It devastates the hivemind's false narrative that there was no provocation and Russia invaded because Putin is a madman.

Under Obama:

Obama loved Russia and Putin. Remember the '80s calling and wanting their foreign policy back?
Remember Obama caught on a hot mike begging Putin for space until after the election in exchange for canceling missile defense?
Remember the "Russian Reset"?
Remember Obama's refusal to sell defensive weapons to Ukraine?

Now remember Trump sanctioning Russia?
Remember Trump killing 200 Wagner Group mercenaries in Syria?
Remember Trump selling arms to Ukraine?

Now remember Biden cancelling sanctions on Russia, including those imposed by Trump?
Remember Biden halting arms sales to Ukraine?
Remember Biden's surrender debacle in Afghanistan?
Remember Biden saying that the US would not respond to Russia invading Ukraine, if it were only a minor invasion?

You cared cared nothing about Ukraine until the left started pretending Trump was a Russian asset.

I don't think any deal has been inked. Yet.  But today's confrontation at the White Hose couldn't have turned out any better for Trump than it did.  Zelenskyy showed all the world what he really is, and in the process, effectively ended his life.  And things couldn't have turned out any better for Putin, who saw Zelenskyy go down in flames before the whole world.

As for leaving Ukraine with "nothing."  I think that's history at his point. Already a done deal. The war is over. Russia won, despite the hundreds of billions of dollars of US aid and military equipment.  They're out of solders to feed to there meat grinder.  And for what purpose?  So that the warmongers can continue the money laundering?   So that the Globalists can continue their attempted takeover of the world? So that influential members of Congress can continue to amass millions while at the same time drawing puny salaries? None of this is a real option for the USA, going forward. It;'s an unsustainable path that will bankrupt the USA in a fee short years.

Trump knows this. Putin knows this. And they both want peace now.

As Elon Musk has said, there is only one viable option to preserve the USA.  Stop the war. Stop the fraud.  Cut unnecessary spending.  That's the only real option.

Anyone who thinks otherwise id delusional.
