She'll jump on whatever bandwagon gets her publicity.

It makes her feel relevant.

I suspect she had a very troubled upbringing.

Sounds like a few people here...

She wasn't protesting against a war though .

She was trying to help her side of the war win the war by stopping the enemy receiving weapons to fight against the terrorists that she supports

That's your opinion. Mine is that she was protesting Maersk involvement in the killing of tens of thousands of innocent women and children.

It's okay to have different perspectives. It's just that you want to insist that yours is the only one that should stand.

You are right. Just depends on who you see as the terrorists. She holds a different opinion than you do and she is willing to stand up and be counted. As opposed to, say, being an anonymous keyboard warrior.

That's the thing with free speech.

I guess she is channeling Elizabeth Beatrice Hall: I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Our women are often more brave and daring than weak hearted men.

Hamas are the terrorists. They started the latest round of the war on October 7 and are still acting like savages.

There is nothing brave about supporting a group that rapes and kills innocent children.

Being willing to go to prison for your beliefs is an admirable quality.

That would depend on what your beliefs are.

I'm not always in synch with Greta's protests, but I definitely support this one.

  Lets be realistic here .

She will go to Court and get asked not to do it again , she wont be going to prison .

I wouldn't be surprised if the Judge ordered her to be given travel costs

She seems to support Hamas's savage brutal attack on innocent civilians that started the war.

Can you give examples where “She seems to support Hamas's savage brutal attack on innocent civilians that started the war.

Supporting such heinous savagery would be a very serious matter, therefore suggesting such support needs to be backed by actual evidence.

Or is it an allegation of the kind that’s aimed at shutting down opinions you don’t want to hear.

Enough of the apologist rhetoric. There are only one group of terrorists. Here they are releasing the bodies of 2 babies they murdered and kept as hostage for around 500 days.

This death cult should be wiped out from the face of the Earth.

Tens of thousands of innocent women and children. Two wrongs doesn't make one side right. As much as you would like everyone to believe that.

You questioned whether Hamas were terrorists. They are the very living example of one of the most evil terrorist groups this world has known who also use their own civilians as human shields and deliberate sacrifice.  Plenty of topics on this already

Like those supporting child raping, baby killing terrorists?

You may have a point.

Exactly right, but we don't have the same people in mind.

That's your opinion, which happens to be quite biased, as we know. Others are of the opinion that the real terrorists are on the other side.

Plenty of topics on the same subject.

Didn't think I'd ever agree with anything that she says.  Protesting against war is never a bad thing :coffee1:

Correct. Only she's protesting against the wrong side. Hamas started the war by murdering 1200 people in 1 day and kidnapping 250, about 60 of them still being held hostage.

She opposes weapons being sent to Israel, weapons that will be used to fight back against Hamas . Fight back against Hamas to stop any more terror attacks

That is showing support for Hamas

That's hardly an opinion, they filmed themselves carrying out the largest massacre of Jews since the holocaust.

It's not an opinion. It's a fact. Only terrorists suffocate a 9 month old baby and his 4 years old brother and then trow stones to mutilate their bodies. And if that wasn't enough, they then gathered "civilians" including children to dance on the stage on which they delayed the coffins.

Only terrorists fire missiles into buildings containing innocent women and children, in order to get to their target, regardless of the 'collateral damage'.

People are people.

You are welcome to your opinion. But it isn't a fact.

Fact, no need for opinions.

Operation Al-Aqsa Flood

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and several other Palestinian militant groups launched coordinated armed incursions from the Gaza Strip into the Gaza Envelope of southern Israel, the first invasion of Israeli territory since the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Get  your facts right. Watch clips posted by Gazans of what Gaza looked like before October 23. It was a beautiful place. They had full control over it since 2005. Yet they kept bombing Israel, kept terrorising Israel throughout the years. But what started THIS war was October 7th.

Yes, there are many operations by both sides. Has been going on for a hundred years.

Actually before every strike the IDF warned civilians in many ways to get out of the way. Oh, Israel didn't put the Hamas weapons in the houses of civilians. The Hamas did that.
