Agreed. But why are all these horrible (farang) people here in Thailand? Outcasts of their home country??

There are a significant number of supremacists here, its usually that  subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) racial thing that the Europeans have against the less civilized.

I love the Thais! They are polite and respectful and always well-behaved. In fact, I could not ask for better neighbors. Also, in the little over six years that I have lived here in Thailand, I have never felt unsafe, like I did in downtown San Francisco.

Ah, Susan/Nok/Harris is back again, the forum’s very own thrift-seeking, shape-shifting, serially-banned troll. The sheer dedication to winding people up is almost admirable. Almost, but not really.

And now, in today’s episode of “Harris Posts the Most Predictable Nonsense Imaginable”, we get this obsessive-compulsive gem:

Thai people? Kind, patient, joyful.

Farangs? Miserable, lifeless, lost souls.

Fascinating. Groundbreaking, really. Liberating in fact. Nearly as astounding as the discovery of the buried city of Pompeii.

Of course, we all know what this is, BigNok. It’s Trolling 101.

Step 1:

Paint yourself as the only enlightened Farang who truly understands Thailand. Unlike the rest of us, of course, who apparently sulk our way through life like zombies in Sizzler.

Step 2:

Casually trash all Westerners with some completely meaningless anecdote you pulled out of the dark confines of your posterior.

Step 3:

Sit back and bask in the outrage as people rightfully call you out on your nonsense.

And let’s be honest, you’re not fooling anyone. This whole “Thais are kind, Farangs are miserable” routine is just another one of your desperate attempts to rile people up because that’s the only thing that brings you joy. You don’t post to share, or to discuss, or to inform. You post to needle, provoke, and troll, yet everyone sees right through it.

After all, you’re clearly the single most unpleasant person on this entire forum. You’ve been banned at least half a dozen times, which speaks for itself, and yet, like a cockroach after a nuclear blast, you just keep scuttling back under a new name, spitting out the same snide, passive-aggressive nonsense.

You never post anything of substance. Nothing insightful. Nothing useful. Just bitter, politically charged, judgmental drivel designed to get a rise out of people. And let’s not forget:

• The only thing that truly excites you is discussing how cheap things are in Thailand.

• Your entire experience with Thai people consists of transactional interactions, they smile and nod because they’re being paid to tolerate you.

• The Farangs you see in Sizzler? They’re not miserable. They’re just ignoring you, because unlike the poor waitress who has to put up with your dislikable presence, they don’t have to.

And the real kicker? You basically live on this forum.

Hundreds of posts per day, every day. Not one of them memorable. Not one of them worthwhile. Just a relentless stream of snark, condescension, and smug little digs at anyone who doesn’t share your warped, bargain-bin worldview.

Also, huge shocker, the bar girls you “flirt” with aren’t burdened by hang-ups! What an absolute mystery! Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with money, could it? No, no, Harris. You must be irresistible.

So yeah, Susan, Nok, or any other woman's name that you choose to go by this week, maybe the real reason Westerners seem miserable around you is because they know exactly who and what you are. A tedious, low-rent, bankrupt forum pest who’s been banned more times than you can count and who nobody would miss if you vanished for good.

Enjoy your next alias, Susan Harris Nok. You’ll likely need it soon enough.

ChumpChange great post!

Strongly agree.

The Best Policy: Always evaluate on Individual Basis, instead of branding one particular country/ethnic group

"as the whole".

Sweeping statement is unfair.

Also dangerous, in terms of own personal safety.

And there are no countries where anything and everything is good and perfectly correct.

Neither countries where everything is bad and wrong.

Surprisingly, president of the United States has such a big impact on its population(and the whole world).

Back in early 2020, racism-based attacks(against NE Asian people)  started in the west(incl. North America, Europe, also in Middle East) to soar.

Mostly after Trump called the global pandemic cause "China Virus".

Heaps of such phenomenon(verbal and physical abuse targeting  the Orientals) filmed and posted  in YouTube.

I also generally like Thai people.

As far as I have experienced in the past 20 years, they are often calm and gentle, most of the time, Unless The Conflicts of (Economic) interests take place.

So, my own Golden Rule to live in peace here: Never get into any relationship that (can) come with  the serious Gain or Loss matter involved...

This way, I could spend my past 2 decades nice and happy.

Yeah I agree with a lot of what you're saying Thai people have a great sense of humor, that's perhaps my favorite quality about them. Most don't take themselves too seriously for the most part, and they love having fun. Being here is such a different life than being back in the US, it's infinitely higher and better for most of us, and for me it's an absolute delight being around Thai people all day.

And the women. Damn. My Thai woman is amazing. Every day with her is a very good day. She is the same lovely woman from one day to the next. I never experienced that level of emotional consistency from a western woman, ever. She has a smile on her face when she wakes up in the morning. Never experienced that in the states. She just does not seem to carry any emotional baggage from her past so I never have to deal with that neurosis.

Some Thais manifest that unbearable lightness of being, that is so delightful to be around. I cannot really get enough of that spirit, and feel so blessed to be around that, and to have found such a well adjusted and delightful creature.

Certainly not everything.

In the past, I sometimes even posted some positive comments about him(I am not an American though).

But regarding that particular topic(his China Virus branding and, subsequent sky rocketing Anti-Asian violence on global scale), I could see clear link between them.

Since that sort of happenings started to make headlines After his that word, Not Before that.

I’d like to agree, but it’s hard to. They seem to take themselves very seriously, whether it’s job titles, work uniforms, or social hierarchy, all things that we barely emphasize at all in the West.

Then there’s the big, fragile egos of many local men, which is just another sign of how seriously they take themselves. And the whole concept of saving face? That’s entirely rooted in taking oneself too seriously.

You often have to walk on eggshells when speaking with Thai men. You accidentally damage their ego or inadvertently cause them to lose face, and it could turn into an irreparable situation.

Sato pointed to the Chinese massacre of 1871, when a mob in Los Angeles’ Chinatown attacked and murdered 19 Chinese residents, including a 15-year-old boy, a reflection of the growing anti-Asian sentiment that came to its climax with the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. The act banned the immigration of Chinese laborers, much as the Page Exclusion Act of 1875, the nation’s first restrictive immigration law, had prohibited the entry of Chinese women.

You look like paranoid.

I never  called MAGA supporter killers; s a non American, details of your nation's  internal politics are really none of my concern.

Still, you feel as if I insulted these people.

What makes you feel as if You are Under Attack?

You better cool yourself down bit.

Otherwise, you just look so hysterical and  pretty funny.

And one thing to be mentioned.

I am far from being the Leftist.

You can easily check my past postings.

If I ever look like one of those leftists,  you might be Ultra Right Winged.
