Tax Refund from Hua Hin Revenue Department

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever received a tax refund from the Hua Hin revenue Department recently?

I have declared my taxes for 2024 and on the 19 Feb, I have received a notification, informing me that my tax refund has been approved and a cheque has been mailed out. As of today, I have tried to call them, no one speaks English. I have written to them receive nothing from anyone. I am just wondering if there is any other way of settling this.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

You don't know anyone who speaks Thai?  Landlord, condo juristic office, the girl who works at Starbucks....?

Perhaps try calling again with someone who speaks Thai who can explain to them what it is you are asking?  Otherwise, I'd probably go to the office with the "notification" you received and try to obtain a timeline for receipt.

i would wait at least another 1 to 2 weeks before contacting the tax office.

bureaucracy moves slowly, and so does the postal service ...
