Agreed, he's only a month or so in.  Maybe things will get better.  Here are a few:  1) I think his policy of serving Russia is... shocking beyond words.  I can't come up with any non-nefarious explanation for it. 2)  I think DOGE is the most moronic approach to reducing government they could have conceived.  I think DOGE's shelf life won't extend beyond another month or so -- Musk will quit and then it will fall apart without his personality behind it.  3)  Picking fights with countries that have been allies...?  4) Immigration... we'll see but so far I'll say the results are pretty good.  Again, flying illegal immigrants home in chains was stupid and immediately set countries against us, and I haven't heard any explanation for using military flights (which cost a lot more than commercial flights, and this really isn't the military's job).  5) One of his problems is his tendency to prize loyalty over competence, which I think in the end hamstrings his agenda.  His nominations like Gaetz, Hegseth, Gabbard... wow.

Every time someone tries ( and fails dismally ) to put Trump down, I thank the deity that Harris lost to "the worst man on the planet".

Thanks also due to the people that thought putting Harris up for it was a good idea, as if they'd chosen a better candidate they would be POTUS and not Trump.

Trump's chaotic governance and his seeming adoption of Big Tech Anarcho-Libertarianism is indeed making people forget just how awful Harris was and would have been as president. I wish both sides had put up saner more effective candidates, such as DeSantis on one side and even Newsom on the other. Maybe Fetterman fits in 2028. By then, of course, as I keep saying, Trump may have screwed things up so much that AOC ends up being president.

but for covid, Trump was doing OK last time. I don't know why everyone thinks he's going make a mess of it this time. Not starting wars is always a winner for me.

W still maintains his position as the worst president in US history. He destroyed the country, its economy, and its foreign affairs standing. He and the Clintons turned American manufacturing over to China. He should be on trial before multiple US and international courts of law.
