Yes I have worked in factories, of different types.   Assembly line, and as a machinist.  One paid base + piecework.  One was at or near minimum wage, as were many of my jobs.   The other, machinist, could make as much as I wanted.   Although, was told by coworkers to slow down, as I was making them look bad.   You know, that new employee that produces 50% more at the end of the day, vs the 20+ year more experienced worker with seniority.

 

Yes, the USA tax system works exactly like that. Most, lower 50% pay <4% income tax.  I've paid 40% at times, due to my income.   Those are facts.  When I have to pay more income taxes in one year, than most people make in that year, there is something definitely wrong.

Why would I be jealous of someone who prefers not to earn as much as I do?  

 

Understanding the tax rates, doesn't make it a fair tax rate.   Please explain to me, how a flat tax is not a fair tax.

 

Everyone pays, say 25% income tax.  Everyone pays the same 25% = Fair Tax.

Someone paying 5-15% tax vs 25-40% tax on income is not fair.

 

No deductions or write off for any reason.   ALL PAY THE SAME = FAIR

Cobol because thats all they have when they computerized the SS system. Their is no issue of knowing what was sent and where it went, the issue is the dating in the software has a weird default if the field was empty when they first input the info after going onto it. Think about the ytk2000 issue with dos operating system. The rest especially from MTG is propaganda
