snoop1130 Posted yesterday at 09:20 AM Posted yesterday at 09:20 AM Image screenshot from video Authorities in Phuket are on the hunt for three foreign individuals involved in a hit-and-run incident that occurred outside Patong Hospital three days ago. The culprits allegedly collided with a Thai motorcyclist using a pickup truck and subsequently threatened him with a knife when confronted. The encounter was captured in a 33-second video shared by Facebook user “Je Moi v+”, drawing widespread attention and prompting public outcry. The post detailed how the foreigners got aggressive and brandished a knife before fleeing the scene. Despite the delay, the motorcycle rider assured the press that the local police are actively investigating, maintaining regular updates on the case. However, frustration has grown online as critics argue the suspects may have already left the country. Public sentiment remains tense, with social media comments reflecting anger and scepticism about justice being served swiftly. Authorities urge the public to stay vigilant, hoping for leads from local residents as they intensify their search for the suspects, reported Thai Newsroom. -- 2025-03-12 1 4 1

Popular Post Ironmike Posted 8 hours ago Popular Post Posted 8 hours ago The news reporting places must be loving all these types of posts normally they only get to write about a dog walking across the road but now with these free visas every scumbag gets into this country and acts likes they do back home,, look at the increase in crimes all across the country because of these visas, it's time they were thrown out for the safety of the local people and honest expats that call Thailand home. It's not like there bring in money it's the exact opposite look at all the Russians working illegally and the Nigerians coming here to do drugs. 1 1 1 5

ronster Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Driver was the one with the knife ? If so looks like he would need it or a gun from the way he runs . Last about 5 seconds in a fight before getting his head done in . 1

Popular Post cookie1974 Posted 6 hours ago Popular Post Posted 6 hours ago More quality tourists making complete c**ts of themselves, honestly im at a loss to describe what has happened to Thailand in the last few years, its become a dumping ground for every piece of s**t on the planet, i think a change of scenery might be in order soon😞😞 1 1 7

And the big question: how to prevent? True! Probably will be 1-2 a week for an unforseen future. Seems like it is Russian, Israelis and Chinese in majority. How to prevent, that´s the hard thing, as we don´t know if it´s even possible to prevent. Ok, always possible. Could make it simple. If do it, as it´s not a normal thing to do, and the should not want such people here. That would be to send to IDC and deport. If that was the constant punishment, I think people would think twice before doing it. 1
rumeaug Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago some places in Thailand seem to look more and more like sewers each day that goes bye (always the same ones apparently. Mostly). 2
ujayujay Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago cheekiness....threats with knives are reserved for Thais 1 1

Before introduce the DTA and a possible 90 days stay here it seems to me there haven't been so many "incidents'. Thailand might go down the river if they can't find a Balance between money and quality. I can understand the "outcry" of the public, but they should address their government. 2

Yeah, they should address the government, but does the government hear them? 1

Popular Post DonniePeverley Posted 5 hours ago Popular Post Posted 5 hours ago Thailand used to be such a beautiful, serene place. WHat's happened over the past few years? Oh wait they opened the borders and let them stay for a time. 3
riverhigh Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago "The post detailed how the foreigners got aggressive and brandished a knife before fleeing the scene. All I saw in the video was a lot of mouth yapping and chest beating. I'm glad I'm not living in Phuket, I don't know how I would get any sleep knowing that these hardened foreign criminals are on the loose ...555.

Patong2021 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago No mention of the lead up to the event. For all anyone knows the moto driver may have threatened the truck. 1

What a hole that place has become, same as Samui - so sad as these used to be a great places to go.. regards, bob. I've lived in Samui for nearly 20 years, and have never seen behaviour such as this - in actual fact I have never seen a fight! Sure, they do happen, but I've never seen one and I do frequent the bars. Maybe I'm just lucky, I guess. However, I have seen - this year in particular, an increase in irresponsible behaviour on the roads from tourists on motor bikes, and quite a few accidents (some serious) And the number of people riding bikes without helmets is increasing - the police used to do "helmet checks" but I've not seen one for the last couple of years - maybe because I'm not on the roads so much these days, but the number of bare chested farangs flying about the place on "big bikes" is certainly becoming a problem. Maybe the police should be doing more? 🤣
Kinok Farang Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Oh how i miss the good old days when farangs (usually Brits) got drunk, picked a fight, got beat up then staggered home. 2 2

Does that also exist or is it just so common that it is the norm. regards, bob. 1
erectem Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Listen to the video esp. the part "farang sam tua" . Tua as a classifier is used for animals (it) . The classifier for people is khon.
malibukid Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago the reason why Thailand does not require background checks is because it would impact tourism
