There is no such thing as happiness.
IMO the first is from ignorance, the second because you didn't learn the lesson from the first. I don't think there is any excuse for a third. Just my opinion. I had 2, but I learned that lesson and never went for a third time lucky. I decided that there is no way to tell the difference at the start, and wasn't going to get fooled again. My second was perfect till she wasn't. I'd never have guessed what she was really like without actually being married to her. -

Ex-Lover Shoots Woman in Jealous Rage After Seeing Her with New Partner
Picture captured from CCTV. A jealous ex-lover stormed after a woman, after discovering she had moved on with a new partner, leading to a violent confrontation that ended with the woman being shot. The suspect later surrendered to the police, claiming the gun went off accidentally. The shocking incident, captured on CCTV, occurred at around 08:10 on 14 March, in an apartment block, in Bang Chalong, Bang Phli District. The victim, identified as Ms. Aree, 35, was seen returning to her room when she noticed her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Phongsathorn, approaching. Fearing for her safety, she ran across the street to a nearby shop, seeking help and asking someone to call the police. Footage from inside the shop showed the suspect chasing after her, grabbing her by the neck, and dragging her outside. A short time later, a gunshot rang out. Witnesses reported that after the shooting, the woman’s new partner, Mr. Sirichai, rushed to assist her. He was seen helping her back into the shop while the gunman fled the scene. Emergency responders from Bang Phli Rescue Unit arrived shortly after and found Ms. Aree critically injured, having sustained multiple wounds to her back from a homemade 12-gauge shotgun. She was rushed to Chularat Suvarnabhumi Hospital for urgent treatment. After fleeing, Mr. Phongsathorn reportedly drove back to his home nearby. CCTV footage from his residence captured him arriving and calling for his sister to open the door. Shortly after, he contacted an acquaintance to inform the police that he wished to surrender. Upon arrival, officers from Bang Phli Police Station found him waiting outside with his hands raised in surrender. He was taken into custody without resistance. During questioning, Mr. Phongsathorn claimed he had no intention of shooting his ex-girlfriend. He stated that he and Ms. Aree had been together for over two years but had frequent arguments. He had financially supported her, including paying for her accommodation and recently purchasing her a mobile phone. However, he later discovered she had been seeing another man. On the day of the incident, he confronted her, demanding that she end the relationship with her new boyfriend and leave the rented apartment, which he had been paying for. When she refused, he allegedly pulled out the gun to intimidate her. He insists that during a struggle, the gun accidentally discharged, hitting Ms. Aree. He also admitted to owning the gun illegally and having a previous conviction for attempted murder, for which he had served time in prison before working as a delivery driver. Police escorted Mr. Phongsathorn to the scene of the crime, where he directed them to a grassy area where he had discarded the weapon. He has been charged with attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm under Thailand’s Firearms Act. He remains in custody as investigations continue. -- 2025-03-15 -
