Motorbike Clash: Tourist and Ladyboy Tussle on Pattaya Streets - video

When will the authorities educate these female imposters not to hassle tourists and cause trouble. I say give them a male haircut ( short back & sides ) as first offence punishment and that might just get their attention to behave themselves. Like this altercation the fragile ego's in this country are pathetically concerning!!

"Because we didnt have our motorbikes it felt demeaning" thats the sort of response you would expect from a overly spoilt child!!

Maybe you don't mind having some  hooker oozing sweat and other bodily fluids on your motorbike seat, but some of us do.  Sitting on the bike is also a good cover for  picking the motorkey entry and stealing the motorbike.  Motorbike thefts are astronomical in Thailand.

There's nice ways to do things and not so nice ways, your choice, he obviously choose to be iffy for whatever reason, politeness always first, never had any problems.

Fair enough. Some people may have been rubbed the wrong way by a kathoey in the past. I have seen how Thais handle this and they  can be rather mean to  the  street people.  It is very bad form to sit on someone's motorbike and is dealt with accordingly.

In the bustling seaside town of Pattaya, a heated exchange over a motorcycle unfolded at the break of dawn today, March 17. The conflict involved a foreign tourist and a local ladyboy, capturing the attention of passersby and sparking concerns about the area's safety for visitors.

The altercation began around 1am when a group of transgender women, familiar for mingling with tourists, gathered near the foreigner's parked motorcycle. The tourist requested that the ladyboy vacate the vehicle, prompting a fierce response: "Get your own motorcycle," he reportedly suggested. This comment, perceived as belittling, provoked an immediate and physical reaction.

Video footage of the incident shows the ladyboy, later identified as 24-year-old Nong Fa Sai, delivering a swift slap to the tourist's face. The surprised foreigner retaliated by gently pushing her away, escalating the tensions amongst the group.

Despite the heated exchange, the situation did not degenerate further. However, the incident has ignited discussions among locals and officials who emphasise the need to maintain Pattaya's reputation as a safe and friendly destination for global tourists.

Nong Fa Sai later explained that the remark about owning a bike felt demeaning. "He acted like we were inferior because we didn’t have our bikes," she said, giving insight into her reaction.

Pattaya's unique night-time economy is often the backdrop for such dramas. Nonetheless, local residents urge the authorities to implement measures ensuring all tourists feel welcomed and secure, curbing similar confrontations in the future, reported The Thaiger.

Nong Fa Sai. What a precious name for such a delicate angle.

Tourist should have slapped it her back as hard as he could. That would be very amusing indeed.

Surely you jest. A slap is a mans invited to deck their asses. In older times a slap was considered an invitation to fight. As far as I am concerned the ladyboy assaulted him and he has every right to lay her out flat in defense. That is not some woman bitch slapping him. He should have punched the ladyboy instead of pushing him away.

Why haven't the police filed assault charges against the ladyboy? That looks like the entrance to walking street where there should be many cops.

Pattaya is surely not some family friendly place to bring your kids.

Who cares if she sits on bike, will be a rental anyway, if he asked nicely she would have apologised and willingly moved, why go to a fun place with an attitude like that.

I don't disagree but seeing a woman (yes I know) get slapped back with 10x the force and falling over is quite satisfying.

Once Peter leaves for Chiang Mai I am outta here.

Tell Peter not to forget his gas mask. Sniffing ladyboy butts is probably better for your health than what we have going on right now.

He's a naughty boy this Peter.

I've known him for years, all he does is drinks. We are just having lunch then I'm going for a siesta at 2pm.

Christ only knows what Peter will get up to when I'm gone!

Bob.

''Pattaya's reputation as a safe and friendly destination for global tourists'' - Who they trying to kid, the whole world is now aware of Pattaya and Phukets somewhat low so reputation.. Soon be April 1st !

There are about two streets out of thousands in Pattaya where large amounts of alcohol is consumed in late opening bars and clubs by tourists and ladyboys. I saw more squabbles in the last village that I lived in in the UK. Most of you critics have never been to the place, but wish you had,

Like them or not, the ladyboys are part of the pattaya tour.  Tourists come to play, or just to see the ladyboys. Tgey areca big partvof the Pattaya allure. Guy was an ass for bitching about someone sitting on his scooter. Everything I park near walking street, I come back and some lady or ladyboy is sitting on it. So? They don't hurt it. I thank them for keeping the seat warm and go home. Easy. When I park, I have even mentioned they can sit. The tourist was brought his <deleted>ty attitude, should have stayed home

Guy was an ass for bitching about someone sitting on his scooter.

Why?

It's his property, the guy had every reason to bitch.

Just because you are ok with a mentally unstable people taking over your property, it does not mean that everyone should bow down to these nuisances.

I agree with this... However, according to other reports, they were sat on his bike...

Which, IMO shows a total lack of respect for someone else's property...

Thats not something I'd take kindly to, though I'd just say 'excuse me' as there really is no point in escalating any situation such as this...

That said, these 'characters' are also known to have 'trigger finger' responses...  the LB resorting immediately to violence...    they need to be removed from the street....

... but, I also hope the foreigner learned a lesson, there is no need to be insulting in the first place (IF in fact he was).

Absolutely agree...   they were sat on his motorcycle...

... What if they knocked it over....   They showed complete disrespect for anyone else's property.

Is there anyone on this thread (or Forum) who would even consider sitting in a strangers motorcycle ?

This is just like those wannabe influencer idiots on the TikTok videos sitting on someones supercar - no different, just a complete lack of respect for someone else's property.

You want to give ladyboys a 30 day visas! The tourist was not aggressive, but that wonderful Thai culture can't handle critism.

Some would argue the Tourist triggered the confrontation for telling the ladyboy to get off his bike in a manner he/she didn't find respectful....

The idea that 30 days visa makes any difference to this just highlights the idiocy of some of the posters here....  perhaps an IQ test is more important for entry and any limits on duration !!!

Becoming/has become a regular occurrence in Pattaya and Phuket:-

Early hours - Ladyboy - tourist - trouble for the tourist.

Where are all the police when these incidents kick off? Are they counting their "protection/tea money"? In all cases they seem conspicuous by their absence!

I'm a critic - I've been there and never want to go back - Happy?

So why don't the police have a presence in these two streets that you mention? I've already made a suggestion as to why, but with you seeming to be a lover of the place, maybe you know better?
