Er - drill baby drill is not really a path to slowing global warming. Nor is tariffs on Chinese EV's.

I certainly won't knowingly be buying anything made in the USA while there's a felon in the White House.

Where were your dental implants made, if you have them?

What about dental tools used by your dentist?

Will you tell your dentist that you will allow her to use ONLY tools not manufactured in the USA?

What about if there was a medical prosthesis that would save your life?

But then, you realized that it was manufactured in the USA...would you...

REFUSE IT?

Yes, the huge worldwide dental implant trade. Or the medical prosthesis industry.

Interesting, though, you should bring that up. The Trump administration is slashing funding for medical research, part of an industry where the US leads the world. But maybe not so much anymore. I imagine lots of those scientists will be able to find jobs in other countries.

Calling a backer of Trump a Trumpist is truly shocking. It's even worse than Trumpism. And by the way, what are those 6 pointed tiny frozen objects called again?

Thousands across Europe and Canada are joining Facebook groups where they exchange ideas about how to avoid U.S. products and find alternatives.

The Danish Facebook page “Boykot varer fra USA” (Boycott goods from the U.S.),  has swelled to more than 80,000 members.

Edouard Roussez, a farmer from northern France, launched an online group, “Boycott USA, Buy French and European!” that in just two weeks has attracted over 20,000 members on Facebook.

Of course the irony is Facebook is American but Edouard is working to migrate the group to other platforms with no U.S. funding or capital.

The European countries where thousands are boycotting US goods

Apart from defence, European social media platforms are an issue Europe must attend to. It will take time to build our own but it's a must.

Macron calls on EU leaders to boycott US weapons

"Those who buy Patriot should be offered the new-generation Franco-Italian SAMP/T. Those who buy the F-35 should be offered the Rafale. That's the way to increase the rate of production," he argued.

Macron also called on French defence companies to reduce bureaucracy and costs to make European alternatives more competitive.

Show who? It was a Brit that invented it..

In any case, the US guys on here waving the flag and acting like the US owns the world and everyone that buys products that were associated with America originally are still American. It ain't the case and hasn't been for many years. And it's not just the US.

Burger King isn't American anymore, neither is Wendy's. Tim Hortan's isn't Canadian anymore, nor is Molson (despite its adverts), and the list goes on - these well-known names are owned by multinational coprorations - often owned by big funds from various countries in a partnership from Europe, the Middle East, Brazil and the US. Much of the mining and forestry is now in the hands of Australian multinationals that operate in the US and Canada

So the main point here is these duties and tariffs simply hurt the little guy who ends up paying more at the check out.

True. Even the White House. It is my understanding it is now owned by Russia.

Maga people are simple minded and can only apply blanket terms to those who disagree with them, shades of McCarthyism.

Many left wingers don't agree with certain woke stances-  I agree, for example, that we should keep transgender athletes out of female toilets and sports.

Victim culture, moral relativism are other areas where many left wingers have differing opinions.

Oh! Wait a minute, who plays the victim card the most?

Donald Trump!

Real Americans don’t care. I got your boycott right here. We’re focused on fixing America. If you don’t like us anymore thats fine. President Trump’s popularity is as high as it’s ever been and i’m happy with my vote for him and what he’s accomplished so far. He’s doing everything i voted for. He was given the biggest mandate in US history with a landslide election win over crooked Joe Biden. He also won in 2020 and that was a stolen election. It worked out better this way anyway. God deflected that bullet that was meant for his head too.

Non Americans just can’t seem to grasp that their opinion of our president means nothing to us, not when we look around our country and see things need fixing everywhere. Fake friends and allies to begin with.

By 'real Americans' I suspect you mean fat old guys living on a small pension in Thailand, guys who have no skin in the game.

Other Americans who work for a living and who produce goods and services that are exported, do care.

By the way, your messiah got his flabby butt kicked in 2020. If you have proof to the contrary, why didn't you forward it to the 60 court cases his minions filed and lost.

Oh, and Elon is going to take away your social security. How are you going to live then, pork? Play guitar in front of a Big-C?

Gawd, MAGAs are just what their messiah said: poorly educated.

Patience not your strong point😆 give patriots Dan, Kash and Pam time to get to the bottom of the fraud.

Btw its a tough sell to say ok we cheated about getting the countries top 51 intelligence agents to lie to deceive and misinform voters just before the election, but apart from that cheating we would never cheat in other ways. Not very believable is it, 88?

Trade Tensions Hit Tesla as Toronto Excludes It from EV Incentives

I don't think anyone needs to attack Tesla or protest in front of their shops... Just wait until the news spreads that their cars aren't screwed together, but glued... and that the glue is failing and panels falling off their so special Cybertruck...

https://fortune.com/2025/03/14/elon-musk-tesla-cybertruck-delivery-halt-owners-complain-of-metal-sides-falling-off/

On Thursday, EV enthusiast site Electrek reported Tesla delivery agents as saying all outbound vehicles have been stopped amid concerns that the glue holding the exterior stainless steel panelling in place is failing.

Who wants a car that's glued together? If that sounds like you, reach out to Elon. With only 5% expected sales target reached, he surely has some in stock for immediate delivery! Duct tape NOT included!

In point of fact, it was the CIA that POTUS hates that developed a good many things in use today. The agency was using things like scanners and lithium batteries and GPS years before they were commercially available. The agency S&T Division did not patent many of its inventions, as it did not want word to leak out about what the agency could do. Agency imaging technology via the Keyhole satellite system was decades ahead of anything commercially available.

It's a shame the boycotters don't understand that the US is not dependent on exports. Only 10% of America's GDP comes from exports.

So even if a boycott managed to eliminate all exports, which is of course nonsense, it would still leave the US with a gigantic 24 trillion GDP.

Good luck guys.

Hahahahahaha

Hahahahahaha

Effects are always on the margin. Fewer exports mean fewer jobs, which casts a pall over the economy and gets even employed workers to pull back.

Even worse, the attitude toward the US has sunk to its lowest nadir in years. What's more important than exports is funding the 30% of the deficit foreigners currently fund. If they boycott USTs, either rates soar or the Fed has to print 24/7, which is inflationary.

I appreciate MAGAs, like their messiah, are willfully ignorant about economics. I guess when they are all unemployed and begging for SNAP and SSDI, Elon will tell them to go to the devil.
