Only if you are the type of person who allows such factors to grind them down in the first place... 

 

I've been into a 7-Eleven numerous times this week and I can honestly state I didn't even notice the 'ding-dong'... thingy... it just doesn't register.....       the differences is not only do you 'register the noise' but you allow it to get under your skin....

As they say, Bob....  it's up to you.....  And in nearly every case you whine about, it really is. No one else is responsible for your inability to handle life’s minor inconveniences without spiralling into another tedious pity parade.

 

If you’re letting trivial things things outside your control get under your skin, that’s not some deep, philosophical struggle. That’s just poor emotional hygiene. It doesn’t take a 'qualification' to grasp something so embarrassingly basic...    just a shred of common sense, which, by the looks of it, you seem to deliberately side step... 

 

Plenty of people have said it already, but since you clearly missed the memo: look inward. Your so-called “demons” aren’t some cosmic injustice, they’re the echo chamber of your own excuses. You're not oppressed, you're just outpaced.

The only thing that really bothers me is when you go to a store shop bar whatever and the staff have no problem talking with me then go with a Thai and all of a sudden they don't speak English

That's why I live in Pattaya. Some of the same problems here but less polluted and easier to navigate. None of the Thais listen to or CARE about our complaints. That's why I don't bother.

Nothing really gets my back up I'm very comfortable being here, but I do get a bit irritated on the BTS with gits who stand up to 6 feet back from the line and then another git comes and stands the same behind them. In busy places like Siam if everyone did that the line would be under the train opposite. Otherwise it's fine.

Many times I think that if anyone is unhappy with the UK, and it's laws and culture, they should just use the nearest airport and leave as they know where they are... or do you think there is some special reason why it shouldn't apply to everywhere? What's you stance, please?
