A few questions about my electrical installation/ consumer unit
I swapped a sockets circuit MCB with a 16A RCBO and it worked fine. I tested the RCD function with a socket tester and the circuit tripped like it's supposed to. I guess the next main thing to consider is balancing the load on the three different lines when adding the 4 new circuits. I've got the torque specs for the RCBO but I don't have anything for the neutral bar. The screws are quite soft and don't seem to like much more than 1.5nm. Is that sufficient? -

Hello fellow boomers. Just say thanks.
1) Not fighting in wars is a good thing. 2) There are huge disparities between the early and tail end boomers. https://crr.bc.edu/great-recession-cut-late-boomers-retirement-wealth/ https://moneywise.com/real-estate/real-estate/american-boomers-becoming-homeless-at-an-alarming-rate Sure, the group holds about half of all U.S. wealth — with much of it tied up in real estate — but it’s mainly attributed to older boomers born between 1946 and 1954. Younger boomers, on the other hand, are increasingly sliding into homelessness — a problem, experts say, is rooted in major events that took place as they entered adulthood. -

Hello fellow boomers. Just say thanks.
Vietnam war ended in 1975, age of conscription started at 18 .... so boomers were involved in the war. -

Does the inequality ever make you uncomfortable?
No it makes my life much more comfortable. Having a maid to do the cleaning and pool guy, gardener etc is a big part of the joy of living here. Rent a real life human all night here for the cost of a packet of cigarettes and a couple of beers in the UK. -

Medication for gout
Please do not adjust your dosage without doing the appropriate lab work. Allopurinol can damage your kidneys and is toxic to the liver. This is why the prescribing physician will ask for periodic blood tests to check your kidney and liver function and to determine your uric acid levels. You are supposed to check your white blood cell count multiple times over the first 3 months of dosing and any changes to that dose. Kidney damage is cumulative and can sneak up on a person, especially if there is concurrent high blood pressure. 300 mg can do serious damage to the kidneys if there is underlying kidney disease. Your physician will also recommend drinking lots of water to flush the uric acid, except if you have kidney disease. Then it becomes a very different management approach.
