I find a user particularly a nuisance, is it possible to block someone?

You can ignore.....

Yes...  when Bob, Gamma, Georgia, Harrisfan, Poutache, MalcomB etc make one of their usual posts and you've had enough...  

 

.... just hover your mouse over their name and you'll see this 'pop up' - then select ignore... 

 

You won't see any more posts from such posters, except when other posters have quoted them, then you'll see why you ignored them in the first place !!!

block anyone , are they sending you messages or just posting

Just a random listing of posters who 'others may choose to place on ignore'.. 

 

You're not on my ignore list...     your posts are not that bad....   

 

Others perhaps 'should be' on my ignore list but in some disturbing way its interesting to see exactly how vapid and toxic they truly are.

 

Then there are others who simply offer nothing but utter rubbish, no opinions just vile comments of no value - or idiotically wasteful bumf...  they go on block simply 'cos I can't be bothered scrolling over their posts all the time.

7 ppl on my Ignore list - a couple because they are total ayholes with no redeeming features whatsoever, the others because they only ever post irrelevant dumb one liner replies that are simply moronic and stupid...

I haven't "ignored" anyone. There are a few on here who have announced, as if it had great consequences, that they have " put me on their "ignore list". Rather a badge of honour I always think!

 

Funnily enough, they usually pop back up soon enough in response to my disgusting, left wing, socialist, Stalinist, Anti-American, woke, outrage provoking opinions. Perhaps the "ignore system" is a bit leaky?

I have many on ignore but just because they are boring. There's only 6 or 7 posters that ever add value. Most appear to be bored Trump haters. They cant go 2 hours without thinking about him.

What's the point of blocking/ignore, it allows the trolls to freely offend without being disciplined. 

 

I regularly get nasty, hate, hostile comments from members, how can I monitor their comments to report them if I cannot see these miserable trolls and their hate comments? 

 

I don't have anyone on my ignore list, I wish all the miserable, moaning, hostile members would put me on their ignore list

I'd like to see these guys in person, have a chat, maybe give them a lesson in life, how to be a good person but they are anonymous, these trolls sit behind their warrior keyboards and constantly attack from behind. These are the type of people who would sucker punch you.

There is only one really. But I don’t take it personal because he does it with many others also.

He has some issues, but claims to be influential and can get his friends off criminal charges.
