Is Hua Hin a safe peaceful place to visit?

It is where the stoned kite surfers congregate, well, south of Hua Hin I suppose.

 

But HH city you'll find a lot of scowling faces amongst the locals.

 

I think they are burned out by the 70+ yr old farangs always drunk and belligerent.

 

Best to go south towards Prachuap KK for fresher faces and cheaper alcohol.

Hey ... don't be sending people down here, as have too many already.   Have to self entertain, bring your women (or dudes) with you, as no P4P here.   Few restaurants with AC, and Ao Prachuap smells of sewage, so pick your viewing spot wisely.

 

How hot ... DAMN HOT ... and it's only 11:20 AM & feels like HELL

No, it's a good post, with my follow up, and should sway most intelligent people to stay away, unless they want to hang out in smoggy, hell-ish temps 😎

 

Go to Samui ... easy and cheap via ferry, or simply fly in.  Lovely beaches, fresh air, and probably some P4P company for those not in a relationship ... ROCK ON

This is exactly why I go there Monday through Thursday, it's absolutely delightful, uncrowded, plenty to do, a lot of great food and nice people, in addition to a few good looking birds here and there. 

 

And it's very safe as long as you keep your nose clean, the biggest hazard is driving or getting mowed down by a car or motorbike as a pedestrian. You have to always keep your eyes open, but that applies to anywhere in Thailand.

It will be absolutely fine day or night unless you are drunk and looking for trouble. If you don't get into fights where you are living now, you won't have a problem here... that goes for most anywhere in Thailand.

Very safe a nice area… We are getting into the “low” season now so even the traffic is way down… Truthfully even during high season traffic is really not that bad…
