This article explains what many of us in the US have been thinking about for a while, and it seems to explain a lot about President Trumps strategic vision.

The vision does seemingly include Russia and India and excludes Europe if you accept this gentleman's analysis of the MAGA vision.

Whither Europe?

https://thespectator.com/topic/donald-trump-white-house-saudi-arabia-iran-ukraine-putin/

"Europe and Britain, meanwhile, are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron’s quixotic effort to form a military “coalition of the willing” – now supposedly entering an “operational phase” – is seen in Trump circles and the Kremlin as an attempt to prolong the war by other means. At best, it’s unhelpful; at worst, it’s apocalyptically reckless. The US doesn’t seem interested in providing the security “backstop” against Russian aggression that Starmer desperately wants. Trump supports increased European defense spending but has no interest in any moves that might disrupt his broader vision for world peace."

And, whither Mexico?

What's truly scary is how fast and easily China eliminated centuries of built up lead in car manufacturing European nations like Germany, France and Britain enjoyed.

Yes, no doubt through espionage and simple takeovers of European companies like MG and supposed "partnerships", however, Europe gave its lead in the auto industry, no doubt.

I don't see Russia ever taking over Europe though, in any way shape or form.

Simples. Western nations don't teach much science or maths etc any more as pupils only want to be media stars. Ergo there are not the scientists or engineers required to invent stuff.

Who is learning science and maths- ASIANS are. Blame western education wokeists for the failure of western scientific success.

Of course it won't matter once AI really gets going as it'll replace humans, so no need for scientists or engineers. Only need someone to tell the AI what they want, and the robot factory will 3D print it for you.

We have only seen a glimpse of what AI robotics is going to do. Shame about all the unemployable scientists and engineers though.

Shouldn't that be "earthquake in the NEW world order"?

The earthquake is required to destroy the existing world order so the "new" world order can take over.

It could be a more efficient virus that really destroys our societies- covid wasn't enough, or it could be a bigger war in the M E. That's pretty safe as they don't have nukes.

I have seen kids as young as 5 and 7 from China speaking fluent German, with mothers behind them who plan out their day and academic program.

Chinese kids on top of true academic ability get taught that work ethic which is known in China as 996 now.

The West, meaning Europe AND the US, is doomed. There can be no doubt whatsoever that the future will belong to the Chinese.

How can a country, that only knows how to copy, ever lead in anything?

While it's true that you can point at Deep Seek and say it was copied from US open source code, it is true, it was, there is a curious thing about copying.

When Germany rose up as an industrial power it was accused of copying British products, which it did. The British created the duty to place "made in Germany" on  products, with the intention to identify the cheap and inferior German products.

Of course we all know what happened, the copyists, the Germans, ended up making "made in Germany" a mark of quality and started innovating themselves.

Copying is just the first rung on the ladder that leads to advanced innovation. Just looking at EVs, China is innovating with new batteries.

US schools still teach the same curriculum as always, with new sciences and new history added. You have to live there or have family or friends there to know what's taught. Here are a few recent scientific inventions.............https://theweek.com/health-and-science/1019386/recent-scientific-breakthroughs...................and others, as humans will never be obsolete...........https://www.cas.org/resources/cas-insights/scientific-breakthroughs-2025-emerging-trends-watch.

Im not sure. The best of the chinese go to learn in the US, and most end up staying. Once you have freedom you cant go back to being a drone

Not unless you call China and the BRICS "new".

It's not the countries that are new, but the "order" that they (the Globalists) were trying to establish.  The WEF is one of the culprits. We're lucky that all that nonsense might be history.

At this point, some of the damage may have already been done, though, with the COVID jabs.  According to some, the jabbed people will be dying over the next few years in mass numbers.  I guess we'll be finding out.

Actually that does happen, and  many of the rich Chinese choose to live abroad. So there is some brain drain no doubt.

But a lot of Chinese also do go back home to apply what they learnt in China because it gives them an edge and they can make money there.

As for the communist party strangling innovation, it certainly had no impoact on the capitalist development of China, not sure it will impact the technological development. Probably not.

Ever hear of AI? The Chinese will have AI which will invent anything humans want. No more need for any country to "lead" as all will have AI. Humanity, providing AI doesn't invent Skynet, will be living in a world controlled by AI.

You are living in the past, which is vanishing as I write this. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Xi ain't stupid. As long as anyone toes the party line they will be free to benefit from any tech advances they may produce.

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but a significant number of humans now take their orders from social media "influencers" and media people. 'tis but a short step to AI masquerading as humans taking over.

What do "many" in the US think off trump's just announced demands for Ukraine minerals (in effect retrospective billing for prior arms supply); with a US majority Board on the proposed venture. In reality another extortion threat by the "Land of the Free" - LOL

The Ukrainian leader told reporters that Kyiv's lawyers needed to review the draft before he could say more about the U.S. offer, a summary of which suggested the U.S. was demanding all Ukraine's natural resources income for years.

No such thing as a free lunch.

The cosplay president better sign if he wants to survive much longer. Apparently he was muttering about "going it alone". Good luck with that :cheesy:.

Aid was provided by the Biden Administration at no cost to Ukraine. For Trump to then try and extort minerals from Ukraine  by way of back billing for Biden's aid is despicable behaviour. You seem to find such lack of ethics /morals amusing, but I'm sure most will not, including the leaders of other Western countries. I bet Putin is delighted by associated loss of international regard and trust for Trump's America.
