It's nice to be here.

Don.

Hi, I quite liked the last line of your post; Nice to be here.

That is something I constantly feel, really.

Ever since my settlement in this kingdom.

Happy to: Hear the bird chirp in the morning. See a wild squirrel running around on the telephone wires.

Clouds move in the sky. A little gecko skates on the wall of my apartment room.

Around myself, almost anything and everything look fresh and truly alive.

Whatever time passed; I never get tired of them.

Simply enjoy living here. No special events needed/expected.

That is one thing I like best about this place.

Thank your posting some positively inspirational words.

Wish you have another good day.

In Thailand mostly tree shrews, very rarely squirrels.

Unsure about other areas.

But in Chiang Mai, I very often see squirrels running around wires and treetops while in town.

Even near my windows.

Once, I even encountered them in less than 5 feet from my room while at home.

They came to feed on some palm tree(in the yard of adjoining tourist hotel) fruit for breakfast.

To my regret, they quickly dashed away when I readied my camera for some photos.

You mean this?  I have never seen this kind of creature myself though.

What I often see this is this.

In Chiang Mai the only squirrels I've seen are in King Kawila Monument park.

Around the moat it's all tree shrews, same size as squirrels, more pointy face, straighter tail.

Only in the highland of CNX?

While I spot them each day near my apartment(in the old city area).

And lot of trees around here.

Maybe different story in the area without it.

Post a photo of what you're seeing, this is what runs around my garden.

Unfortunately, I could never take any photos of them.

They are often far away from my position(over 50m away on the wire).

Or run away so fast when they notice I am nearby(outside my window).

Thanks for sharing the image you captured.

When I have some luck, I will, too.

Very happy thanks. Japan is an amazing country.

Food is the best in the world here.

Don.

One great thing about here in this kingdom: Even the low end food is tasty and filling.

Good example: Mooping and Kao Nyao(Thai BBQ pork and steamed sticky rice).

Looks like 2 of the nations have in common.
