At 81 yoa in June, I feel quite gratified at being branded a "far right thug". In reality, I'm just an old man who loves his country, respects law and order, doesn't approve of uncontrolled immigration and would like his government to do something about it.

While it is true that illegals and legals are different, a lot of immigration/societal issues in Europe come from unrestricted legal immigration, along with economic migrants posing as asylum seekers and refugees.

 

Citizens should be allowed to complain about this without being labelled as racist or far-right.

I agree. 

 

The reason for my comment is that it's often said "over a million immigrants here on benefits". That's wrong. Very wrong. The million legal immigrants can't claim benefits.
