A curious mind

Featured Replies

Do you have one? George was whining about monkeys. I looked at train stops. 9 stops before Nakhon Sawan. Just imagine if you found yourself a nice little adventure. Maybe a girlfriend.

In Udon and Khon Kaen I look for new sois to explore. Found some gems.

Turn a problem into an adventure.

Some studies show that a curios mind is engaged, and that may help with prevention of mental decline such as dementia.

This came up in a discussion with my Thai teacher this morning. She is not curious, (and claims to speak for all Thai people), so when she goes to the doctor she doesn't care what made her sick. She only wants to know about the cure. When her car breaks down she's not interested in why, just how long to fix it and what's the cost. Etc..

Your writing style is often very 'choppy', @Harrisfan, I'm curios as to why that is.

Travelling is wonderful, but don't you prefer going to the seaside with this weather?

my mind approaches challenges as opportunities to learn and innovate, rather than simply following established procedures.
