Is there something like a "Transit" stamp for visa exempt?

The reason why I'm asking, I'm currently staying in Thailand on my first VE 60 days arrival by air and I'm leaving for honeymoon to China. Flight would be DMK - KMG - DMK. 

On the same arrival day I have my outbound flight from BKK back home and will be returning to Thailand a week later. I'm afraid I might have too many VE in a short time. 

 

So basically I would stay on Thai soil for less than twelve hours, only to transfer between DMK and BKK. For this I don't want to "waste" another VE by air. 

Is there any transit VE stamp that I can request from the IO that allows me to stay, let's say 12 hours in Thailand?

There's no such thing as "wasting" a visa exempt entry because they are not limited to a certain number.  There is a transit visa, but it's for people who do not qualify for visa exempt or visa on arrival, and need to cross through passport control for some reason while transiting.

In theory yes. But how many times people get denied entry because of too many visa exempt entries.... ?

Not really. They usually get denied for "spending too much time" visa-exempt in Thailand. Quite some people have reported flying in and out frequently, without any issues as their overall time spent in Thailand is short.

You need to clear customs etc at DMK.

You will receive a visa exempt stamp.

Later obtain boarding pass etc at BKK.

Your pp shows one day in Thailand.

It's not the number of visa exempt stamps.

It's time spend in Thailand and time between visits.

Don't worry I have a friend from japan who work in Malaysia.

He come to Thailand very often  and all time on a visa exemption. 

 

They never ask him anything   because he stay one week all time
