So did I. The only real ham was Lazenby. The rest were all OK in their own style and ways. That's entertainment folks.

I've never got why people dislike Lazenby so much. He was better than Brosnan ( the worst Bond ) for sure.

I think Timothy Dalton was worse than lazenby.

Slightly off topic ..........

Just been downloading age of consent 1969, and savage messiah 1972

to see how naked Ms Mirren would go when she was in her early 20s.

And the answer is ..... way beyond any bond movie ever dreamed of going!

Brosnan is perhaps the best looking man who ever lived. Given that Ian Fleming wanted Bond to be suave, Brosnan was a good choice. It's just his films were not written or done as well. I actually liked Brosnan.

But then I liked Roger Moore as well, I loved the light hearted suave entertainment which I think Ian Fleming had in mind when he created Bond.

Craig, a short, dour, ugly Bond, without humour, charisma or sex appeal, I never understood that.

Perhaps you nailed it about the plots. Moore's Bond films were obviously done on the cheap- appallingly bad special effects which ruined them for me. I just don't like Brosnan ( he was such a very bad choice for Mama Mia that they had to reduce his screen time to almost nothing in Mama Mia 2 ) and for me his best part was in the Long Good Friday. IMO Brosnan was just too smug to be a convincing Bond.

Craig was awful. Stupid films too.

Roger Moore and Sean Connery were the best 2.

Craig's problem was that the woke scripts had him caring about his disposable bed fodder. A real Bond doesn't care about anyone.

Gawd! 😔 Don’t worry, Helen, as with practically every other franchise and TV in general post-2020, Bond will be so watered down and typical from now on as to be unrecognisable. I expect the next Bond to be non-white, un-masculine, highly effeminate, likely with deep physical and mental flaws, and utterly un-witty so as to not upset the fragile. Another show ruined for the sake of you know who.

A bit like Doctor Who now?

Timothy Dalton was the best of the serious 007's.

The only movies I kept:

The living daylights & Licence to kill.

In the future AI will take over the franchise , hopefully with

better stories and more nudity.

You can't be serious.

It’s kinda funny in a way she has totally exploited the male psyche with her incredibly good looks and talent as an a list actress .lol heck I celebrate the difference and how each of the sexes uses it to exist together!that’s what keeps stuff interesting!🤨
