Drove through Hua Hin on Wednesday morning, black as coal and thunder storms, with flooding everywhere.

It's quiet here tourists have almost gone home although plenty around Tesco and blueport but many may be expats

A bit of rain well needed to wash the sewers not much flooding

Complete BS. Pattaya is empty the bars and restaurants are very quiet. Today at my hotel i have the swimming pool to myself. At breakfast there is more staff than customers.

That's because all these Thais coming to Pattaya  in their cars causing so much traffic. Takes almost a hour to get past Central Festival mall. They are in traffic or the malls.

Driving through Cha am it was dead, all the beach road was empty with hopeful vendors waving at you to turn into their patch of beach.

I have frequented the north beach recently... the never ending strolling vendors trying to sell you stuff becomes annoying after the 50th time..

I pass by Cha am now and head for a lovely sandy beach further south that I shall not name, no vendors, no deck chairs, no umbrellas and no interferences.

Sheer beach bliss
