Myanmar ignores Thai warning, drops bombs near Kanchanaburi border, mobilises troops to clash with KNLA Karen forces, Thai soldiers deploy forces to secure border At 12:00 noon on April 21, 2025, Myanmar soldiers flew Y-12 aircraft to drop bombs in the Tiki village area, Myanmar. Located next to the permanent border checkpoint of Ban Pu Nam Ron, Village 12, Tambon Ban Kao, Amphoe Mueang, Kanchanaburi Province Initially, about 10 bombs were heard. In addition, 3 Mi-17 aircraft transporting soldiers landed at the Tiki base, with about 60 soldiers, to prepare for a major clash with the Karen forces of the 4th Infantry Division, Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA). On April 20, the Thai authorities, through the 29th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, negotiated that there would be absolutely no clashes or bombing in areas adjacent to the Thai border. However, in the end, the Myanmar military continued to drop bombs. While the villagers of Ban Pu Nam Ron, Village 12, Tambon Ban Kao, whose houses are located next to the border, saw a Mi-17 transport aircraft crossing the airspace into Thailand, so they recorded a video clip. Currently, the 9th Infantry Division is transporting anti-aircraft artillery or anti-aircraft guns towards the border to maintain airspace. Adapted by ASEAN Now from Khaosod. -- 2025-04-22 1 1
ukrules Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Retaliation is needed here - shoot them down whenever they approach. Then follow up with an invasion - always room for a little more Thai Land. 1 1 1 2 1

Although I agree, but considering the very close relationship between some current and former senior member of the Royal Thai Army and the leaders of the Myanmar Junta (and their large "investments" in Thailand), I doubt that this will happen anytime soon. 2
ozz1 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 They should have arrested him when he was here wonder what happened to all the aid money given to them after the earthquake they don't care about Thailand or anyone else
spidermike007 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Well since the Thai military has been idle for decades now and huge amounts of money flow from the treasury to the army and Air Force, perhaps it's time they take action and simply take out what's remaining of the hapless and completely ridiculous Burmese Junta Army, as they'd be doing the entire world a big favor. 2
Popular Post Tropicalevo Posted April 22 Popular Post Posted April 22 Very sad for the Burmese people. Ask the world for aid after the earthquake and then spend it on bombs to kill innocent people. So much for the ceasefire. Just like the Russian ceasefire, it is only the enemy that has to 'cease firing'. 2 2

If they threaten the peace of the neighbor, a lesson must be taught in the way they can understand. Pacifism only helps encourage the bandits. 1
