Accident Concrete Mixer Overturns in Fatal Crash, Driver Killed at the Scene in Chachoengsao

A road crash in Chachoengsao province claimed the life of a concrete truck driver when his vehicle overturned and landed upside down at the roadside after he veered off a curve. The driver died instantly, crushed and trapped inside the wreckage.

 

Police from Rachasarn Station, led by Pol. Lt. Chalermphon Satham, were alerted to the incident, which occurred near Muang Mai Health Promoting Hospital in Moo 7, Muang Mai Subdistrict, Rachasarn District. Emergency rescue teams from Phanomjao Foundation were dispatched to the scene.

 

 

On arrival, authorities found an overturned Isuzu concrete mixer truck, registration number from Chachoengsao province. The body of the driver, later identified as Mr. Amnat Sawatdee, was discovered trapped inside the crushed cab. Rescue workers used hydraulic cutting tools to extract the deceased from the wreckage.

 

Local residents told police they believed the driver was unfamiliar with the road and may have misjudged a curve, causing the truck to lose control and overturn.

 

Police are continuing their investigation and will summon witnesses for questioning to determine the exact cause of the crash in accordance with legal procedures.
