If we’re going to apply scepticism, let’s apply it to all claims — including sweeping ones like “all vaccines will kill you.”

I agree this is an excessive formulation. Unfortunately, this is what happens when the pendulum is pushed too far in one direction: it then swings back in the opposite direction with equal force. Excess and radicality generate more excess and radicality.

And....... the big difference here on THIS forum is that when there might very occasionally be a "click bait type headline" regarding the dangers ( especially the mRNA ) of vaccinations,  what follows are almost inevitably well meaning and thought out reactions and opinions by a few of the core "anti-vaxxers" .

A stark contrast to the same repetitive ad hominem attacks or , the rehashed "articles" of bought and paid for (by Pharma) still pushing the "safe and effective" mantra that even people working in rice paddies don't believe anymore .

good responses.  I like to help to keep your skills intact 😉  .

WWS .... hope the DT team has the fortitude and right intentions to keep strong.

Jeff at Coffee and Covid has written a very good response as well  .   RS just might be on his script writing team ?  555

It is so easy to lose the sound of the orchestra amidst social media’s doom-scrolling cacophony, where every minor setback proves that Chicken Little was right, and the conservative sky is falling. But if you can tune out the panic merchants for just a moment, you can hear the steady rhythm of an administration not flailing, but conducting. Like notes on a score sheet, one by one, day by day, agencies closed down, lies dismantled, gatekeepers dismissed.

What we are witnessing isn’t chaos; it’s choreography. And the tempo is accelerating.ALWAYS WINNING ☙ Friday, May 30, 2025 ☙ C&C NEWS....check it out

Absolutely, and it's a bit rich to be chastised by people who were okay with the outrageous BS which was pushed during the Covid years (a couple of examples below). I would dare to say that when you have been on the receiving end of organised State persecution, you have earned the right to vent a little bit (to say the least).

Yes, excellent. I loved this bit, as a long-standing critic of FDR's New Deal:

Whereas Roosevelt’s inner team built the apparatus of modern liberal governance, Trump’s team is systematically dismantling it, agency by agency, doctrine by doctrine. Never before has a president enjoyed this level of alignment across every axis of executive power —national security, public health, foreign policy, education, and the courts— and used it not to entrench a legacy, but to eradicate his enemies’ institutional infrastructure. It’s not a return to pre-pandemic normal. It’s a forceful return to a constitutional baseline, wielded like a chainsaw carving right through the post-New Deal history books.

And regarding this:

“President Trump always wins.”

I'm going to quote Badlands here (I don't 100% adhere to their stance, but I think it is the closest to what is actually happening):

"President Trump has already won across the board, and what we are witnessing now is narrative deployment to explain the victory to the masses in comprehensible and acceptable terms."
