It's the " .. and more" bit that has caused the concern. Wrt tariffs, you're correct that he promised them. However, the markets and the rest of the world had probably 'priced in' some targeted tariffs of moderate size e.g. against China and, perhaps, the EU and on certain products such as steel. The problem has been caused by the scattergun approach and the size of the tariffs.

Thanks to Don the UK FTSE shares are doing OK, the pound is rising ++ as are  my gold mine+++   shares .

That's how fake polls work, by skewing the pool of respondents to guarantee the preferred outcome.

Not actually. Polls are intended to cover a cross section of the whole population groups, so you consign a portion of the total polled to each demographic group to get a more accurate result of the whole population, not weighted to any group.
