2. In the OP, I have linked Trump's tweet, also linked in the article cited.

If you click on "show more", you will see that he used the word FRAUD as well as other insults such as criminals, fake polls, cheating, lying, etc... There's no doubt about the meaning of his message.

These people should be investigated for ELECTION FRAUD, and add in the FoxNews Pollster while you’re at it.

Ooh!  Quote-mining!

Funny they didn't put that quote in the article.

Can you imagine why?

Isn't it enough to rightfully claim he has the lowest approval numbers of any president in their first 100 days, second only to his bigly self in his first first 100 days?

Why do you have to ruin it with posting traumatized garbage?

You simply lose credibility doing that.

It's you who's cherry picking quotes!

There's no doubt about the meaning of his post, taken as a whole!

Here's the whole message again!

Great Pollster John McLaughlin, one of the most highly respected in the industry, has just stated that The Failing New York Times Poll, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll, about a person named DONALD J. TRUMP, ME, are FAKE POLLS FROM FAKE NEWS ORGANIZATIONS. The New York Times has only 37% Trump 2024 voters, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll has only 34% Trump Voters, unheard of numbers unless looking for a negative result, which they are. These people should be investigated for ELECTION FRAUD, and add in the FoxNews Pollster while you’re at it. They are Negative Criminals who apologize to their subscribers and readers after I WIN ELECTIONS BIG, much bigger than their polls showed I would win, loose a lot of credibility, and then go on cheating and lying for the next cycle, only worse. They suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, and there is nothing that anyone, or anything, can do about it. THEY ARE SICK, almost only write negative stories about me no matter how well I am doing (99.9% at the Border, BEST NUMBER EVER!), AND ARE TRULY THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE! I wish them well, but will continue to fight to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! From Donald Trump Truth Social 04/28/25 05:24 AM

Right!  So "fraud" actually DID appear once in Trump's rant, although not used in the sense of that a single word taken out of context implied.  Trump appears to be complaining about their prior actions, as he references election fraud, and well, we're not in an election cycle.

Perhaps I should retract my accusation of quote-mining, as no quotes were mined, merely a single word.  In fact, there were NO Trump quotes in the article.  Not one.  There was a link to an external source, but nothing in the text itself.  Just an artist's interpretation of what he/she/they/them want you to think Trump said.

You are splitting hairs!

Trump is erratic as usual, so single quotes are meaningless.

He (falsely, of course), accuses them of manipulating the poll in order to produce a bad result. So if it's not an accusations of fraud, how would call this accusations? An accusations of what?
