If all true, Trump is PO at Russia it seems.  I can see him sending much more powerful weapons to Ukraine.

If nothing else many more Russians will die and hopefully,  their war machine will be at least temporarily slowed down.

Slowed down?  They've been pretty much at a standstill since Putin attained his stated objectives.  CNN, from February 2023.

That's a lie. Military aid was GRANTED. It's Trump who later made up a fiction that it's OK to demand payback.  It doesn't work that way. If something is a loan or a purchase, you start as a loan or a

Really? Europe have ensured a steady predictable supply of weaponry to Ukraine. Not a stop-and-go supply with all kinds of strings attached and blackmail. Contrary to what Trump said this is America's war. America organized the blowing up of the German pipeline so that Europe would have to buy US natural gas at extortionate prices.

Aka Biden the sellout gave out our money for nothing. Zelinsky is agreeing to this deal because it would look really bad if he didnt

Biden did what every other president has done in support a Allie. Trump is the odd ball in trying to turn support into a business deal. He's truly a scumbag in every sense of the word

Another win?  The only win Trump has had was the election.

I would call the deportation of thousands of illegal alien criminals a large win. Also effectively closing the entire southern border to illegal crossings is a yuuuge win! Oh, and attracting trillions of dollars in foreign investment to the US. And starting to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which Biden disastrously drained for pure partisan political advantage.

But yeah, other than those very minor details, nothing to talk about.

Can you show us the "trillions of dollars of foreign investments" please. It would be good reading.

"Meanwhile, foreign investments accounted for more than half of the U.S. total investments since Trump entered office – roughly $3.3 trillion. Foreign investments in U.S. industries came from the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Saudi Arabia and India.

Among those countries, the United Arab Emirates invested the most, committing last month to a $1.4 trillion investment framework targeting U.S. based industries over a ten-year period. The other countries that have agreed to invest in U.S. products and industries include Japan, which has committed $1 trillion, Saudi Arabia, which has committed $600 billion, and India, with $310 billion."

Apple alone for $500 billion from a total of $1.8 trillion from private investors.

Its amazing that people here actually thought or still think the USA do things for the people, this was always about the minerals. It was just kept quiet for the first year or so.

You need to change your news channels, this wasn't reported at all by the msm

A sad expedient but Ukraine is in a corner with regards to weapons and ammunition.  Rest of Europe currently  not able to meet the needs which as ever are urgent.

So basically the US were propping Z man up in a war he had the choice to avoid. Now his has put his country in debt for decades.

But its Trumps fault

Commitments and agreements are not investments, especially over a number of years

Nope I stand by my news sources and they aren't yours. Future commitments and agreements are not investments they are just intentions and can be changed or altered. Check how the stories are worded and how you present them.

Yeah, didn't expect you to accept it, probably never will.

Proposed investment doesn't just happen over night, you know that right.

I never disputed the intent but they are not invested until they occur. 1.4 trillion over 10 years is not 1.4 trillion invested. Unless you use Trump math this year as stated. Present the information correctly for what it is.

Yup.  Just send a few more bucks and throw a few more Ukrainians on the fire.

It's long past time for the dying to stop and the rebuilding to start.

Or was it an Indian?

Can you provide the provenance of the yacht claim?  I'm willing to be open to information that is harmful to my side of the discussion.

It was reported all over. That includes the notion that these investments were in the pipeline and not related to trump. I do see quite a few delayed/ cancelled investments though since trump started with his flipflops.

I looked it up and the factcheckers claim he didn't buy 2 yachts with USAID money.  But nobody seems to answer the question, "Does Zelensky own a yacht?"  Or even whether he bought one yacht using USAID money.

Though I'm sure he wouldn't own the yacht if he did buy one.  He'd have it under a corporate name.  Probably flagged in Panama.

How did he have a choice to avoid Russia invading his country?

He could have made them quit killing ethnic Russkies in the Donbass after the US orchestrated a coup.

But it's impossible to have a meaningful discussion with anyone who thinks this kerfuffle started in 2022.

Of course, Trump supporters would know everything about that process.

By stopping the attacks on ethnic Russians in donbass, not trying to join nato, and going to peace talks in April22.
