went to get a 1y extension, turn in all the paper work, everything was fine, stamp me a 30-Day Under Consideration, after the 30-day came back to get approval, but i realize something that i never pay attention before, the immigration office that approved my extension is not the same as the one that process my application and give me a 30-Day Under Consideration, is that normal? different immigration office sign and approved on different thing?

Which immigration office ?

in any case not

You might want to step back and clarify your question a bit.

applying for 1 year extension at CW, the person who process my application and gave me a 30-Day Under Consideration was a woman, after 30 day i came back to get my 1yr approved it was a man, it wasn't the same woman that process my application, i just never realized that, because i thought the same woman that process my application would be the same to approve my 1 yr, but that s not the case.

Seriously?  You mean a different "Officer" not "Office".  Maybe she was on her period.

No.

You were given an under consideration period.

This means that basically your application is approved.

The paperwork has a final check and you may receive a home visit.

You return to immigration on date indicated and receive final stamp.

You can even have someone attend on your behalf.

Yes, that is quite normal. As you're aware you have to present two copies of your application. One copy is sent off to the regional office for your area, who carry out additional checks.

Those checks, I am told are to confirm that you and your wife are a genuine item.

A lot of sham marriages abound here and the regional offices are better able to sniff out any that may be suspicious. Your local office cannot give the final nod until they have received approval from the regional office.

He is reporting and doing this at Changwattana. The head immigration office in the country. Nothing is going anywhere other than from desk to desk.

Of course, yes. But it's still the same procedure. A marriage extension has to undergo additional checks that are not required for a retirement extension.

Yes.  But his concern seems to be that it wasn't the same actual person that dealt with both ends of the process.  Bizarre.

its not a concern more of curious because i never pay attention always thought it would be the same person, i brought this up because the woman that process the application was super nice and friendly, but the guy was super awful and rude.

What "guy"

You applied for an extension.

Were given an under consideration period.

Returned for final stamp.

What is your thread actually asking.

Naive at best.

The latter is not unusual for marriage-based extensions.  Consider yourself lucky the first one was actually nice.  Even "civil" I considered very good luck, when doing these.
