She has no path this time a primary will serve as a guard rail. No way she makes it through that. Governor Kamala is her possible path. Even then i doubt it.

Like I said I'm not a big fan.

But in many ways she was served an unfair deck by the timing of Bidem's exit.

So we saw something historically weird and difficult.

So I'm just saying she deserves to compete in the primaries

It's impossible to predict the political mood in 2028 if there is a real election then.

So therefore it's impossible to predict what sort of candidate would be the best as well.

It is impossible to imagine who the dems will crown as they are crazy. Let them primary all of their established leaders and try to elevate the squad types. Put Fetterman in he is crazy but as normal as the dems are these days. Wes Moore has already side stepped crazy. He is smart to wait this out.

I am not a republican. Go ahead and run Newsom, one thing you will notice about liberals that aren't rich is they all love california but nobody lives or vacations there. They have memories of it being a great place, and wax lyrical about Mission burritos. that all fails when that burrito is $25 now.

It took the dems to turn paradise into a hellhole.

Detached from reality in WV maybe, yup.

I was raised in Ca. and still own multiple homes there. It's hard to lay blame on just Newsome for what's happening there but he surely is responsible for some of the lunacy. Just one small example is that all lawn mowers and weed eaters and gardening tools must be battery operated, no more gas. Now folks have to travel to Nevada for tools.

Because of EV sales, gas tax is dwindling so now theirs talk of taxing vehicles based on milage driven.

I’m in total agreement on that some of it is lunacy but some of it is good as well, you would be surprised at how many republican ideas I agree with, just not the way trump try’s to ditctate it.

I agree, 350 million people and Kamala is seen as their best hope !! Still we can't really comment with the nut job Starmer as Prime Minister in the UK.

Ohh please. Incredibly qualified to make word salads only. She showed the world what an idiot she was in everyone she talked to. After 4 years as Vice president she knew absolutely nothing about international politics or relations. She could not even answer simple questions without some kind of word salad or relying on someone else to help her reply.

Needless to say anything about why you would want someone like Harris running the countries money since she completely blew a billion dollars in 3 months. Imagine how much damage she could do with the trillions passing through the WH policies.

Not a big fan but I think except for a few major errors, she ran an incredible campaign. But the people wanted fascism, cheaper eggs, and to scapegoat immigrants and LGBT people. In fairness, she deserves another shot to COMPETE for the nomination if there is a real election by then.

You just lost whatever credibility you had with that post. You have to be from California

This guy was shut out by the DNC before he even got out the starting gate (stabbed in the back much like they did Bernie). I don't know much about him, they quashed him cuz they wanted a black woman. Free elections my ass.

4th largest economy on the planet in spite of some mistakes…..hummm….

4th largest economy with highest poverty rate in the national and a horrible literacy rate.

SACRAMENTO, CA — California continues to face significant levels of poverty, with the state once again having the highest poverty rate in the nation, according to a new Budget Center analysis of newly released data by the United States Census Bureau. Despite some recovery from the economic impacts of the pandemic, California’s poverty rate in 2023 remained alarmingly high at 18.9%, with approximately 7.3 million state residents unable to meet basic needs — a population larger than California’s four largest cities combined: Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, and San Francisco.
