Palestine has always refered to an area of land rather than a state.  South East Asia is not a country nor is Central America nor is North Africa or Europe.

It was called Judea at the time .

Anyway , as history lessons aren't welcome, better to get back on topic

The Brits and the League of Nations referred to it as Palestine.

Just Google "British Palestine".

On the morning of 22 April 2025, the familiar sight of demolition machinery on the outskirts of Tuwani sent a wave of tension through the South Hebron Hills.

That day, the bulldozers claimed a family’s home and a nearby water cistern vital for survival in the arid landscape; no structure is safe because of a bureaucratic labyrinth that has been designed to gradually erase Palestinian presence from the land.

The process is methodical: Palestinians must obtain planning permission to build anything from houses to water tanks, but such permits are systematically denied in Area C, which comprises 60% of the West Bank;  this bind ensures that nearly all Palestinian structures exist under perpetual demolition orders, their destruction a question of when, not if.

Israeli Settlers are Erasing the West Bank

Palestine does not really exist. That why thousands of Judeans left the area when Israel was established. The judeans that stayed to be a thorn in the side of Israel were manipulated by Yasser Arrafat using money from the Gulf States. The sooner they leave the better.

That's not what the League of Nations and the Brits said.  You're rewriting history.  Or trying to, anyway.

The West bank was called Judea right up until 1948 when Jordon acquired the land and changed the name to the West Bank .

Israel still refers to the land by its original name. Judea

The LON & THE BRITS are not necessarily the sole arbiter of state hood in that area.

So the settlers have a place to stay?

The term "Palestine" is first mentioned in the 5th century BCE by Herodotus in his Histories, referring to a district between Phoenicia and Egypt. The Romans later revived the name in the 2nd century CE as "Syria Palaestina"...

Yes, the world noticed that and so do those living in Gaza.

I have had this discussion way too many times to continue and to have it again .

You can find exactly the sane discussions , all the same back and forths in other threads .

This topic gets discussed regularly, almost on a weekly basis and it will end  up with the Philistines and the Temple of David getting a mention .

So, I will bail out on this occasion

Did not make it a country, even the Quran never mentions it. It's like saying New England or East Anglia are countries.
