Just bored with it. It's been non-stop for10 years.

Then don't read it, don't post on it, and ignore.

You're not fooling me.

Actually I've heard the connection recently discussed by U.S. political commentators, particularly traditional conservative republicans that understand the Trump is a Putin puppet, has a parade for himself like a tin pot dictator, doesn't follow the rule of law, doesn't uphold the constitution, has permanently damaged the American brand with former allies, is totally incompetent and knows nothing about economics or rational foreign policy, etc.

See what I mean? Boring propaganda. Non-stop.

No. Others will read your nonsense and I must try to alert them to it.

Breaking the IQ Floor with this thread. Epic.

You must be talking about the comments from the anti-free speech, anti-democracy, anti-constitution maga brigade.

Worthless insult posts. Non-stop. Truly nauseating.

I disagree.

Your rants only have value in the way that they clearly reveal to everyone your rabid obsession with Trump.

Both the Maoist cultural revolution and Trump maga cult greatly devalue the "elite" more specifically actually real expertise and relevant experience.

Trump actually doesn't, he asked Scott Bessent, an elite hedge fund manager to join his economics team. He asked Elon Musk, an elite business man to trim the government.  He doesn't have that Khmer Rouge or Maoist hatred of the elite as a whole, he  just doesn't like some of them, others he quite likes.

But I'm convinced the parallels between these two movements are really real and really there.

Well, the thing with convictions, you know some people were convinced spaceships were going to come and abduct them. But I fail to see any meat on the bones, even after reading that article full of hot air.

I've never seen any source completely dedicated to the connection before that CNN article about the talk in China. I'm not sure that I would label all the content in that article as propaganda. It's opinions. It's not a state position.

Yes its all opinions from Chinese commentators I never claimed it was from the state, well done  spreading all that propaganda.

As someone with a degree in history from a US top 75 university I can state categorically I see and that you've made zero case for any similarities between Mao's cultural revolution (which US lefties were on board in 60s) and the MAGA movement.

If anything the blind following of Biden woke dogma through all the criminality, the blind support of Biden, Harris mirrors your presupposition best. Dogged fealty to the worship of drag queens and chemically castrating children. Of .. by any means necessary.

Unsurprisingly, you've got it ass backwards

This is yet another post, yet another example in a litany of posts in which you are wholly entirely incorrect.

I assume you are familiar with the term argument ad verecundiam.

Just because it's coming from Chinese people does not mean it's propaganda.

Yea of course, its all totally believable..........:saai:

What is believable is that Chinese people would tend to know more about the Chinese cultural revolution than most.

To me to support Trump is anti American because the maga movement is:

pro Putin

pro autocracy

pro corruption

anti rule of law

anti constitution (except for the second amendment)

anti  democracy

anti press freedom

anti academic freedom

You lie. You cannot show any of that. Go start a topic on each one, liar.

A person that posts lies is a liar. Each and every point you made was a lie that you cannot back up.

Sure thing.

Too bad he has currently blessed us with the worst president in American history.

worse than Biden and the 10 or 20 milion illegals he allowed into America? How can you explain then how, why Trump amassed 77M votes and crushed the democratic morons in a humiliating defeat Nov election? Go check the notable accomplishments of Trump in 110 days and compare this to what Biden accomplished. Biden did nothing, but set the world on fire. Trump is fixing America and you're too ignorant and butt hurt to know or care.

Mao"s cultural revolution killed thirty million people....

Very true.

I made the point (did you miss it?) that they are not the same thing.

But as far as killing people, Trump's killing USAID is predicted to kill millions of people internationally, and if the maga cult is successful is gutting Medicaid, many Americans will die as well.

Ironically the majority of the people that will suffer because of gutting Medicaid will be maga types.
