Thailand's leading food delivery app, Line Man, has introduced features aimed at making authentic Thai cuisine accessible to the country's 2-3 million expats and 36 million annual tourists. With the automatic translation of restaurant menus into English and fun chat stickers bridging language gaps between users and riders, Line Man transforms dining experiences across 77 provinces without the need for a Thai keyboard.

This initiative emerges as a convenient alternative for foreign users of the Foodpanda app, soon to leave the Thai market. With Line Man, users can now explore over 700,000 restaurants effortlessly, discovering everything from hidden local treasures to major chains. The app makes the ordering process seamless by converting messages into Thai, ensuring smooth interactions.

Line Man also provides enticing perks like free delivery and exclusive discounts. New users can benefit from special promotions, such as 200 baht off their first order using the code "LMMAX," alongside cashback of up to 400 baht.

To get started, users can download the Line Man app from the App Store or Google Play, log in or create a new Line account, and set their delivery location to dive into thousands of options nearby. The integration of English translations means effortless navigation through diverse menus.

Foreign users have been flocking to Line Man, particularly in hotspots like Bangkok, Chon Buri, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Surat Thani, where the app has seen a fourfold increase in its foreign customer base in early 2025. Among the favourite dishes are khao mun gai (chicken rice), khao kha moo (braised pork leg), and spicy papaya salad som tum, each offering a rich taste of Thailand's culinary diversity.

As Line Man expands its reach, the company anticipates a 20% growth this year, supported by investing 10 billion baht over five years to boost technology and market presence. The focus on generative AI aims to enhance customer experiences and optimise delivery, tailoring personalised recommendations and efficient service.

Line Man is available on the App Store and Google Play in select regions, excluding Europe, inviting users to switch their store region to Thailand to download and use the app.

With these advancements, expats and tourists can seamlessly enjoy Thai cuisine, while helping restaurants extend their reach to an ever-expanding foreign clientele, bolstering Thailand's food delivery market.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Grab also advertised this some time ago, TOTAL FAIL!

Re LineMan, I WISH you would do your research before printing this BS, because it is simply not true.

This is a screenshot from my LineMan App taken right now, and YES, my "settings" are set to show English for everything!

Again, it does not work, (yet), only a big advertising blitz to make fools of us farangs!

I like LineMan, they have a lot of bargains and coupons. But we always need two phones to use it. One for the app, and one to do a "camera translation" of the menu and specials.

I have just added my restaurant on lineman. When introducing the menu I got the options Thai name and English name. I guess most Thai owned restaurants just don't bother

Never heard of LineMan. I'll stick with Grab, and always ordered by one of my Thai family members.
