Sad how many expats become just as brainwashed as the locals. It's like they surrender all their critical thinking skills in order to be accepted and feel a sense of belonging because they know anywhere else in their world, their nonsensical views on life, such as justifying muzzle wearing forever, would be rightly ridiculed.

Not so sure about that. I live in a ranch community in the US. Supposed to be "upscale".  I saw people in their 70's walking on trails in the middle of nowhere with the muzzles on.  People in this community dropping like flies from the jab. None would listen to me. 90% of the over 70's here took it.

Supposedly 81% in the U.S. took at least one jab. Ivanka modeling age 18 ish.

Sounds great. Thailand has tunred ino a joke in many ways over the past 10 years. I visited Vietnam the other week, was my first time there after living in Thailand for nearly 12 years. people always told me that Vietnam was not friendly like Thailand, but in actual fact, i found the people there to be friendly, and far less immature than people here in TH. Another thing i noticed is that the younger generation of Viets were super easy to have conversations with as their level of maturity appread to be quite high along with their English skills.

How do people do all of this traveling and not have to take a lot of injections?  Not saying anyone should.  I would just like to know how to get around doing so. Not going to travel if I have to onboard any sauce.

Picked up my first bout of Covid over a week ago and it has laid me low. I'm at the rasping cough coupled with nausea stage now and am unable to do much except sit around feeling sorry for myself. This is not a disease you can ignore like a common cold, it's actually serious. My infection is easily on a par with my worst ever dose of flu which I had about thirty years ago and remember well. At 80 yoa, I'm quite concerned about the cough which shakes me to my foundations and goes on for quite a while. I'm normally a very fit guy.

I too used to mock people for making a big thing about Covid, I certainly won't do so again.

A lot of knockers to my last post.

Non believers.

I've had 6 jabs.

But had it 2 times.

Very mild cold like.

So there's some benefits in the vaccine. IMO.

The vaccination itself doesn´t "kill" the virus it just boosts  your immune system so that your body can more easily defeat the virus and the symptoms will be less severe and revovery will be quicker! In 2023 I had a vax just a month before my trip, and although I did catch Covid it was over within 4-5 days only! This year I didn´t bother to get a vax before my trip, and once again I caught Covid but this time it hit very hard and even today 3 months later I still have a cough!

So yes there really are some benefits with the vaccin!

Have you thought about what might have happened if you had not taken "a vax"

could it be possible that the first exposure was sightly worse and that the second was then negligible...of course we will never know for sure  until someone invents the time machine.

Ah, so anecdotal evidence is okay now, is it? Great. Here's mine: 0 jabs, 0 Covid infections. Gives a bit of perspective, doesn't it?

All those planes falling off the skies and vaxxed people having car accidents all the time. They want to reduce the air traveling. That is the reason why they got all the pilots vaxxed. All the politicians and billionaires have their private jets with unvaxxed pilots. Remember Jacinda Arden and her billionaires friends that built bunkers in NZ. There was an article sometime ago about the 11 000 politicians and others that were not required to take the jab in NZ. Meanwhile the general population is dying or suffering the jab side effects.

Locked up in the cellar in your mamas house playing with the computer alone, is not the same as walking among the crowds in Bangkok, as the infection risk is zero! 🙄
