Not true. Give states block grants, eliminating waste and fraud, and adding work requirements are not cuts.

Do you think that able bodied men that are not working and not looking for work should receive Medicaid?

50% of births in California are on Medicaid

40% of people living in California are on Medicaid

27% of people living in California were not born in the United States.

California gives about $75Billion more to the Federal Government than it receives...maybe all states should just stop paying more into the Federal budget than they receive.  Let Californians decide how they spend their tax dollars - if that is  on medicaid for non-native born, pregnant, able bodied men without jobs it would be entirely up to them

I'm all for that. I say cut all state funding an let them fend for themselves, as it was meant to be.

Nothing to do with ego from my side.

A good thing is a good thing,i can agree with more things Trump wants to do but i object to the way he is doing things.

Can you admit Trump is doing some things wrongly?

I can agree & disagree with Trump, but see his motivation at times.

Take his anti EV stance, along with Biden's 100% tariff on cars from CN.  If CN was allowed a free market in the USA, the USA auto makers would go belly up in 5-10 years.

Look how the legacy auto makers are struggling in countries that do allow cars from CN.  Losing market share and closing factories & dealers.

Both Toyota & VW have announced plans to expand operations in the USA & N. America.   Especially USA, as no competition from CN, knowing they simply can't compete, same as USA auto makers.

USA the only market left for them, after cars from CN are taking the market share from them in UK, EU, AU & elsewhere.

I see Trumps thinking, delay the inevitable, as long as possible, as auto making is a huge part of the GDP, for now.  Although the USA is so far behind on the EV curve, when it does, it's going to be devastating.

Meanwhile, the consumer is getting killed, with overpriced, low tech, low performing POS.   Along with lack of inexpensive solar systems to energize the EV, when they do arrive or they buy now.

Same applies to the jobs in the oil industry, if solar was available to the masses, though not as drastic, due to weather patterns in USA.

Big Oil's total control of the transportation & energy sectors is embarrassing.  But they also control the votes, as too many jobs depend on living in the 20th century.  Same as auto industry.

Me me me mentality, is going to be the USA's downfall.  Everyone complains, but still buys the best at the best price, instead of 'buy USA', which in the long run, would increase manufacturing & jobs in the USA.

Trump sees the future and tariffs are the way, but the voting consumer isn't go to see that, due to inflation, when it hits, and it all may fail, come mid term.

you forgot to ask that the explanation is comprehensible to 14 year olds.

OIC, you want an explanation that you can understand.

You don't believe the federal government should collect taxes fund their operations?

Funniest thing is, this big government micromanaging what you can eat, and how business operate is exactly what maggots blame on lefties. Add to it that a few years back Texas was celebrating coal rolling and Iceing teslas,  now we see what money can buy.

Should the feds requlate anything?

The documented facts dealing with income/wealth distribution over the past decades does not support your supposition.

Please provided some documentation.

Now we have the left burning teslas.

They can do this via the state budget.

So, you agree that Biden flooding the with illegal aliens put downward pressure on wages?

And do you also agree that Biden flooding the country with illegal aliens puts upward pressure on housing costs and social services?

Many courts, but not the Supreme Court.

Just saw another judge that was harboring illegals had to resign.

No, in answer to your two questions as that was not what was being addressed. I neither agree nor disagree ... much in line with if you had asked if I quit beating my wife.

US court Decisions stand unless overturned for cause on appeal. The US Supreme Court weighs in only on Constitutional issue rulings which seem to be a prevalent challenge by trump (that is he is purposefully tease the US Constitution).

None of this makes the citation of the current House passed budget Bill untrue. I am not familiar enough to address the 22% of births on Medicaid who were born in the USA nor the 13% born in the USA on Medicaid (using your % citations). You seem fixated on California for some reason. Care to look at where I retired? That would be Kentucky, solidly voting Republican among the highest Medicaid state recipients. Block grants will equate with no fraud and abuse?

OK, let's hone in a bit. We agree on addressing waste, fraud and abuse. We may differ on my wanting documented, factual findings publicly presented and the perps brought to justice (we might agree on the last bit).  Not a problem to require looking for work ... you agree to funding enough social workers to file and follow through on checking eligibility to work and not cutting off healthcare were there are not available jobs (I have to draw the line somewhere if 'involuntary servitude" is in the picture.  I am a retired history educator, my income (family of 3) falls in line to qualify me for Medicaid ... would you say, the vegetable picking available job must be taken? (OK, actually I am retired so Medicare ... oops. no coverage living in a lower cost country ... never mind).

P.S. Don't dream, the Republican agro lobby will likely not allow banning harmful pesticides and fertilizers

For the Big Ag(g)ro lobby, for them the worst case is they just have to wait a few years for the next White House occupant to take the throne. If they do the proper prep they can make it illegal to ban known poisons from the food chain.

Don't see that happening. Anything banned by Kennedy now will not return.
