The USA manufacturing plants will  be shut out of a growing market.  Brazil's 2023 Vehicle sales were 2.18 million, an 11.3% increase from 2022.  2024 had a  13.9% year-on-year increase in vehicle sales. Brazil’s EV market is growing  and driven by foreign automakers like BYD and Chery establishing production facilities in the country. As a result, Brazil is emerging as a key regional hub for EV manufacturing in South America.  Many parts and components are foreign sourced. They won't be US sourced parts and components. 

 

The Trump tariff plans are doing long term damage to the US economy . The US will not be a player in foreign markets because of US trade policy. Trump and MAGA antagonize, belittle and insult potential trading partners who then turn to China to replace the  US sourced products.

You claimed there was some bullying. There was no bullying, and you are unable to substantiate this claim. Negotiating is not bullying, even if there are always differences in term negotiating power.

Unlike the initial Brexit negotiation, there was no antagonism shown from both sides. The main point is that the EU and UK have decided to improve their collaboration.

 

Obviously, threats and true bullying from both Russia and the U.S. logically lead to increase collaboration between reasonable and democratic counterparts. Don't you think it makes sense?

Ill-informed nonsense, the EU’s common economic area was created by removing tariffs for those nations that joined it, those nations that didn’t, and the one that left, don’t get the membership benefits of zero tariffs.
