I have no sympathy for Urs 'David' Fehr or what he have done. But if a Thai had done the same to a foreigner, the punishment would have been a slap on the wrist, or in worst case a 500 Baht fine with no jail time served. It seems like the Thai judicial system likes to punish foreigners for things, that a Thai citizen would easily get away with. In my humble opinion, such two tier behaviour will make many foreigners consider one extra time, before travelling to Thailand to spend their money. -
