Views on this latest action from Trump
Yes indeed and this from Wikipedia points to the fact that she was also a nutjob....... "In November 2019, Babbitt tweeted about Pizzagate, a conspiracy theory that senior Democrats were operating a child sex-trafficking ring.[30] By February 2020, Babbitt publicly supported QAnon, a broader far-right conspiracy theory that expanded Pizzagate's claims by adding the concept of a worldwide cabal of Satan-worshipping child abusers whom Trump is secretly fighting…… She had nonetheless tweeted regularly about the conspiracy theory since February 2020. Babbitt posted about 50 times a day on Twitter; on Election Day, she posted 77 times.[35] After the election, Babbitt rejected the results and began supporting the Stop the Steal movement.[30] On January 1, 2021, Babbitt announced plans to travel to DC for January 6.[30] A central belief among QAnon believers is that Trump was planning a massive sting operation on the "cabal", with mass arrests of thousands of cabal members to take place on a day known as "The Storm".[11][36] On January 5, 2021, the day before the assault on the Capitol, Babbitt tweeted: Nothing will stop us … they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours … dark to light![37] IMO, she got what she deserved. -

Report Health Minister Somsak Blocks Punishment of Doctors in Thaksin Hospital Case
File photo for reference only Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsutin has vetoed the Medical Council of Thailand's disciplinary actions against three doctors involved in former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's hospitalisation decision. This move came as no surprise, given the political and public interest surrounding the case. Somsak's intervention follows a committee's review of the council's decision. The Public Health Minister, supported by his aide, Vice Public Health Minister Thanakrit Jitareerat, sent a formal opinion to the council, urging a reassessment of their resolution. The case involves three doctors who allowed Thaksin to remain at the Police General Hospital instead of being transferred to Bangkok Remand Prison, following a medical evaluation. Thaksin was ultimately released on parole after a prolonged hospital stay. The Medical Council had initially investigated four doctors, exonerating one and deciding to issue a warning and suspend the licences of the remaining three. However, Somsak’s response, while not fully disclosed, reportedly supports the dismissal of the case against one doctor but contests the punitive measures against the others. Somsak's veto came shortly after Thaksin criticised the Medical Council for alleged partiality and unprofessional conduct. The council now faces internal deliberations, scheduled for June 12, where they must seek a two-thirds majority to override the minister's veto—a challenging task, given the government's influence within the council. This situation highlights the intricate balance of medical ethics, political influence, and procedural integrity, drawing significant attention and scrutiny from both the public and stakeholders within Thailand’s healthcare and political arenas. Wife wants to buy house but i am not in country to sign
Is it really her money or is it yours? If it is hers, you can probably go to a Thai consulate near you in your country and sign it right there and then in front of them. If it is your money, then I wouldn't sign it because you'll never see that money again, since you've signed a waiver. -

The announcement came through a Facebook post shortly after a border skirmish between Thai and Cambodian forces in the Chong Bok area at around 5.45am. The RTAF's message stressed the continuous air combat and ground attack training conducted by the 211th Squadron. This ongoing preparation ensures the squadron is ready to respond to national security threats that may necessitate air power to protect Thailand's sovereignty and maintain public peace. An RTAF insider noted that the air force is equipped to handle any situation that arises. The latest exercise is part of a routine training schedule designed to simulate real combat scenarios, allowing the forces to remain vigilant and adept in potential conflict zones. This proactive approach underscores the RTAF's commitment to safeguarding national interests amid ongoing regional tensions.
