So you have a broken mounting bolt ?
The shock wasn't bent until the bolt broke.

However, I'd reach out to them and let them know. They may be seeing a pattern.

Where you bought it, and who installed it?

Sounds fishy, and you sure it was installed correctly and with original parts?

Have you checked if there is a  common problem?

the high-strength threaded bolt is breaking off, or at risk of breaking off.

How do we know the bolt is high-strength and what does that mean?

Maybe the bolt is a stock Harley bolt it probably, certainly isn't a YSS bolt.

You broke a bolt and thought the best action was to slander the company....

Good luck with that !

The owner of YSS is highly litigious as well...

If the bolt was tightened with an impact wrench set at the  wrong torque the bolt could have been damaged or broken then.

YSS shocks on a Harly, all the YSS shocks I see are all on Waves etc. are they meant for Haleys?  you spend X00000 baht on a motorbike but put on Thai made shock absorbers, why not get the proper ones for a Harly, a Thai dealer should Have them, or can get them ,or order them yourself online.

My first thought - who fits YSS shocks on a Harley, 2nd YSS are good quality Shocks, had em on a Forza & were Tip Top for 6500b & ladtly as said the bolt has failed nit the shock

YSS make shocks for many types of bikes , not just little bikes  they supply shocks for  Ducati, Triumph and Harley and all big Jap bikes , they are very good quality  rebuildable after market  shocks  ..

The bolt for mounting the  shock is sheared off , looks that  it was not tight enough and came loose  and then flexed  causing the bend in the shock collar  and then the bolt snapped ..  , some Harley bolts are known to shear if too much torque applied .. So the shock is not the problem its probably down to incorrect mounting ....
