Is it even possible to get a PhD nowadays without knuckling under to radical lefty instructors and administrators?

 

Who peer reviews the journals?  More importantly who pays the reviewers?  And will they keep the paychecks coming if the peer reviewers don't toe their line?

According to the theory of Milankovich Cycles, and empirical observation, the axial tilt of the Earth is decreasing and the perigee (furthest distance from the Sun) of the Earth's orbit is increasing; both should lead to cooling.

According to our friends at Google,  PhD graduates have completed  advanced studies that include specialties that include; dynamic meteorology, atmospheric physics, and statistical methods in meteorology. They spend 4 years or more obtaining  in-depth knowledge and skills to analyze weather patterns, predict climate changes, and conduct research on various atmospheric phenomena.  A PhD student will have engaged in rigorous research, often focusing on specific areas within the field, such as climate modeling, weather forecasting techniques, or atmospheric chemistry. 

 

There are multiple  universities around the world that offer a doctorate in meteorology. As  this 22 year old is USA based, he has options in the USA. The faculties  that offer doctorates in meteorology have not been accused of political bias and  their students  implicated  in campus unrest. The people causing trouble at universities like Columbia were often  not students, and those that were, typically came from the  arts faculties. Few if any came from the natural science faculties.

 

However, if you are that concerned, there are universities not known for political activity;

-University of Wisconsin-Madison: Offers Ph.D. programs in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. 

-University of Utah: Offers Ph.D. programs in Meteorology. 

-Penn State University: Offers Ph.D. programs in Meteorology and Atmospheric Scienc

-Cornell University: Offers Ph.D. programs in Atmospheric Science. 

-University of Arizona: Offers Ph.D. programs in Atmospheric Sciences. 

 

There are no known or alleged misdeeds associated with the peer review process  at the  principal meteorology speciaty journals. If you are aware, please do share. AN thrives on conspiracy claims , both real and imagined.

I believe the Earth is warming, and it is due, at least in part, to human activity. But you have to know it's something of a ruse, when all the same people that are claiming CO2 will end the world as we know it, seem to be against nuclear power.
