A Chinese tourist has expressed gratitude to the Thai Tourist Police for their quick and efficient action in apprehending a gang of pickpockets at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

On 9th June, the Tourist Police Commissioner, Pol. Lt. Gen. Sakchai Phuakaam, announced that the Tourist Police had successfully apprehended a gang of thieves targeting travellers at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The victim, a Chinese traveller, conveyed their appreciation in a message translated into Thai, thanking the police for their professional and effective assistance.

The message highlighted how the victim had initially felt hopeless after their passport, wallet, and bank cards were stolen at the airport.

However, the quick and decisive response by the Thai Tourist Police led to the recovery of their stolen items.

The tourist praised the police's professionalism and their unwavering commitment to protecting the safety of tourists, noting how the experience underscored Thailand's reputation as the "Land of Smiles."

The tourist concluded with a heartfelt wish for the Buddha's protection over the kind-hearted officers, acknowledging the beauty of Thailand made even more attractive by the guardianship of such dedicated individuals.
