SCB, no more exemption from facial recognition in app
My face verification got cancelled automatically by SCB 2 days ago. I had to log in using my PIN code. None of my transfers limits were changed including international. Then on 16th June 2025, I received a notification from SCB on my iPhone app. "Waiver of verification by face recognition has been cancelled." I clicked on the Face Recogition button and can log in using my face id as before. I am a foreigner with a work permit. -

Was the Senator Padilla incident the beginning of true authoritarianism in America?
So he was publicly announced as "US Senator has now entered the room?". I did not see that part. Just because someone is escorted into a room does make the person important or a Senator. If he was escoted in then was DHS informed that a US Senator had entered the room or not? Then where was FBI agent or the NG. All this could have been avoided if the FBI Agent had identified himself and the identifying the presence of a US Senator? -
