Your ignorance of the sexual culture engrained in Thailand for bargirls, hookers, or ladyboys, massage parlors, etc,  clearly shows. Considering all those choices are readily available and not discouraged unless the practicing partner is a foreigner offering services what is the need for "legal brothels" ?  For a sexpat you certainly seem ignorant to what's really going on here

Add to that those who think all foreigners do what they do and are all with whores. "All women are whores" being a favorite go to for them. They can't have a real relationship with a woman who isn't a prostitute so are jealous of those that can. "All women here are bar girls at one time or another", yet another lie as it's but a fraction of the female population. "You all pay for your women", some pay for sex and most pay to take care of their woman, or families, providing.

Since my Thai has improved and knowledge of Thai culture I am increasingly scoring with non-prostitutes.

 

Problem is I am retired and I have a lot of spare time and they have to work often six days per week so I still also use hookers for fun like most people who live here Thai men included. And I assume you do also though you admit you don’t want to admit it.
