You seem to be confusing emotion with reality.

Fact: Tariffs are inflationary. Ask any economist.

Fact. China is the big winner. BRICS GDP is larger than the G7.

Fact: China holds all the cards with rare earths, essential for America's military.

No, prices are dropping, it's the Trump EFFECT  and WINNING strategies and policies. Promises Made Promises Kept.

How about that, Trumps got it going big time, making Biden look more like the useless America hating failure he truly is. Tariffs can put upward pressure on prices of some goods and services but generally do not cause inflation like Biden created with reckless out of control gov't spending.

Energy prices down have nothing to do with Trump, and all to do with SA and OPEC deciding last year to increase production! 🤣

Meanwhile....more winning! 🤣

US economy shrank faster than expected, new data shows

GDP contracted by 0.5 percent on an annualized basis, 0.3 percentage points lower than the last measurement from the Commerce Department.

Economists were expecting the number to stay the same at a 0.2 percent contraction.

Thursday’s downward revision reflected lower consumer spending, mostly in recreation and transportation.

The Federal Reserve, along with other forecasters, has reduced its U.S. growth outlook for this year. The June projection was for growth of 1.4 percent for 2025, down from a 1.7 percent forecast made in March. The World Bank is also predicting 1.4 percent growth for the U.S. this year.

Back to tariffs, breakdown in negotiations with Canada. Trump is not happy Canada is demanding internet companies paying their taxes where their profit comes from. EU has plans akin to Canada. Goes for all companies, but of course the US companies like Alphabet, Meta and Amazon are by far the biggest players.

Thank you, always refreshing to hear a voice of reason in the wilderness of delusion and massive Kool-Aid consumption. The cost of living is not dropping in the US, prices continue to skyrocket, the quality of life continues to decline, the demand for the dollar is dropping and the economy will likely shrink under Trump's ridiculous trade policies, despite @illisdean and others engaging in a desperate level of denial. Truth does not seem to matter, to that camp.

It did but not because of the IRA, but show some proof. Even retard Biden admitted it was "not about inflation" Carry on gaslighting, lying, all your trademark and hallmarks when YOU GOT NOTHING.

"The CBO and Penn Wharton Budget Model found no significant short-term inflation reduction, as most savings (e.g., drug caps, energy credits) phase in post-2025. Biden himself admitted the IRA has “less to do with inflation” than climate and jobs, reflecting a branding misstep..."

That act had nothing to with inflation.

https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-inflation-reduction-act-impact-one-year-950550722320

CLAIM: The Inflation Reduction Act is responsible for the drop in the inflation rate observed in the year following its passage.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: Missing context. While the inflation rate is indeed down from its peak, economists say the law can take little credit, and many provisions are just now starting to be implemented.

Nothing to do with the IRA mr. gaslighter and resident B.S. aficionado

"The IRA’s name was a political tactic by Senators Manchin and Schumer to address 2022’s 8.2% inflation, but its focus on climate and healthcare diluted its anti-inflation narrative."

So it was implemented after the peak. How could it be responsible for inflation increase as it was claimed, Mr. gaslighter and B.S. aficionado!

@illisdean

You claimed that the act was an "inflation creating act."

That was another of your usual ridiculous claim. Fact is that inflation did  not increase after the act was implemented, it decreased.

I have proven you wrong again!

My claim was that the act could not be an inflation creating act. And I have proven it. Chronologically, it couldn't. :coffee1:

And Q2 is looking good.

My point is that the GDP Now model is not reliable, as its forecast for Q1 (-2.8%) was completely wrong (it's -0.5%). And it was not the first time it was wrong.

And more sources confirm that GDP growth expected to be around 1.4% / 1.6% for the full year.

Around half of average growth under Biden!

One more forecast at 1.4%

I would like to know what tariffs you're referring to, there has only been one deal out of over 100, and one with just a basic framework of a deal with China, so which ones are you referring to?

Apparently he signed a deal with the Penguins on the uninhabited Heard and McDonald islands near Antarctica, along with other remote external Australian territories. A bigly win for the MAGAs!!

How less eloquent do you become when you stop ranting and try to answer a question in less than 6 lines of verbiage?
