Well, I opened the thread to see how the members think of Thais.

And it's clear they think themselves to be the superiors.

I added an IQ test for everybody but got none response about the result.

My assumption (even more than assumptions) is that many/most were shocked not even getting the 89. I reckon 89 might be just the average here on AN.🥳

I noticed that you never posted a screenshot of your results.  Got something to hide?

Who designed the test and what life experience is it based on? So easy to rig a test to make Whites look superior.

And what is intelligence? Here's one definition: the ability to live in your life conditions with the greatest satisfaction, peace, and social connection.

Social connection? Your logo's animal is involved?🥳

The OP is hiding his low IQ.

Not that this source is always accurate.  According to them Hong Kong had a population of over 9 million, whereas reality is just over 7.

You’re adding up districts that are already included in Hong Kong's total.

Hong Kong SAR is one city-region, not a collection of cities.

Kowloon, Tsuen Wan, Yuen Long, etc., aren’t separate cities — they’re parts of the city of Hong Kong SAR.

The site calls them “cities” for simplicity, but that’s misleading — they’re not cities, just districts within one city-region.

Hong Kong’s population is ~7 million — not 9.

Take it you scored less than 89?

The median Thai person has roughly the same mental faculties as a white/European janitor.

It's very important to know this if you are to understand the country and why things operate like they do.

From the fairly  frequent mention of the Dunning-Kruger effect in discussions I think that this effect is fairly well-known to the AN members at large.

The thing I wonder about is do the members in general consider the effect applies to anyone?

Including them?

That's the thing with Dunning-Kruger, you don't know you're experiencing it by definition.

Anyone can make an IQ test and there's many proxies. Working backwards from the chart I posted, career itself is a proxy for IQ.

Consider the fact the brain an organ and has a function like every other organ in the body. The idea is to make a test which measures the function of this organ.

IQ is a BS 'test' that was designed to measure a person's ability to think and thus learn. Once a person has passed the age of about 16-18 their IQ test results are very much influenced by their education - the better educated they are, the higher they will score in the standard IQ tests. That is why the current western world is full of over-educated idiots who have a degree and think they are intelligent and can run a country or company, when they should be plumbers and cleaners - especially those in subjects like 'gender studies'.

Do you understand that people from the same FAMILY and who went to the same schools have different IQ? It's at least 50% genetic and varies by population groups too for this reason.

That's nonsense. Your IQ is largely fixed late in adolescence, it's a measure of cognitive potential, nothing more and certainly not education.

Back when I was at school they made us all do an IQ test, this was in the 80s when we were 15 or 16 years old depending on when in the academic year you were born.

After about this age your IQ will generally not change much if at all. You might be able to spend your time practicing IQ test type questions and get better at the tests but that doesn't change anything other than your ability to do those type of quizzes.

I remember we were told during the test that there are many more questions that we can possibly answer in the alloted time - likely about an hour and that's how it's designed - they said don't allow yourself to get stuck on one question - if you don't know it and can't figure it out just leave it blank and move on to the next question.

California one of the top five in spending, and in the bottom five in quality of outcome.

IQ is largely genetic. It doesn't matter how much money they throw at the problem. They could spend 1 million each student and nothing would change.

They've phased these tests out because they are inherently discriminatory. Now we get DEI which is reverse discrimination in favor of low IQ people, i.e. if your race tests too high against other races they raise the bar for you to pass.

Here's a real rubber meets the road situation where money is involved. NBA had a test they would conduct in order to know if a player was brain injured and would receive compensation.

Because black Americans have an average IQ of 85 they were passing the test more often than white players and thus the NBA would offset their score to normalize them against whites.

Of course they got sued and had to end this but now the NBA is paying out settlements to black people in which a white person with the same injury would not get.

That students are not proficient at math has little to do with IQ, and much more to do with the quality of education.

While genetics is a component, environment is a much bigger concern.

They still did them fairly recently in the UK, I remember my nephew said they told him he could join Mensa based on his results - pretty sure he didn't bother though, neither did I.

Then how do they increase the "quality" of education? All they ever say is to spend more money per child so why doesn't that work in Baltimore?

Sure "change the culture" but that culture is coming from the people themselves so unless you're planning to separate families and colonize them they will revert back to the norm.

That's all "they" ever say, because "they" are leftists.

Students should have to pass a national test to move to the next grade. Schools that are not performing should have funding cut.
