A fire broke out on the evening of 26 June, at a factory producing washing machines and refrigerators in the Bangkadi Industrial Estate, Pathum Thani Province. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or fatalities.

 

The blaze was reported at approximately 19:00 at the Toshiba Consumer Products facility located in Bangkadi Subdistrict, Mueang District. Fire crews from multiple municipal areas, including Bang Phun, Lak Hok, and Bang Khu Wat, along with volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, were dispatched to the scene.

 

The fire is believed to have started at the rear section of the factory, which was used to store cardboard boxes and plastic pellets for moulding. Firefighters worked intensively for over 2 hours to bring the flames under control.

 

Initial assessments indicate that while the fire caused significant material damage, but there were no casualties. Authorities are currently evaluating the extent of the losses and conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
