Another Foreigner "falls" from balcony... Chiang Mai. 30 UK

Featured Replies

A British tourist fell to his death from the 10th floor of a Chiang Mai condominium following a heated argument with his fiancée during their pre-wedding holiday. The man, in his 30s, reportedly slipped from the balcony during the row, with police treating the incident as a tragic accident pending further investigation. His fiancée was left distraught at the scene as authorities arranged support and contacted the British Embassy to notify his family.

I can't count the number of times this happens.   I'm not going to save anyone's life with this post, but those railings are comically low.  I'm currently on the 6th floor, and my balcony railing comes up to my ankles (OK, maybe a little higher).

Good news!!!!  I'm getting married next week.  Nobody's invited!!!   My fiancee just got us a room on the 9237432894032743904873243  floor.

Red flag FARANG!!!!!!!

Growing up in Detroit in the 80's, we used to take a class called "Balcony Defense."

When I was in Sicily, The Godfather told me to take pictures on the roof.   Seemed OK.
