Sudanese Migrant 'Tried to Snatch Girl in Front of Dad'

Sudanese asylum seeker Edris Abdelrazig, 30, was arrested and charged for allegedly trying to kidnap a 10-year-old girl near Walnut Tree Playing Field (pictured) in Stockport, Greater Manchester

A Sudanese asylum seeker living in a taxpayer-funded hotel has been charged with trying to kidnap a 10-year-old girl — right in front of her father.

Edris Abdelrazig, 30, was arrested on July 13 after allegedly attempting to lure the young girl away near a park in Stockport, Greater Manchester.Shockingly, Abdelrazig was living in a £100-a-night, three-star hotel in Wilmslow, Cheshire, funded by the Home Office to house asylum seekers.

He allegedly travelled two miles from the hotel to Walnut Tree Playing Field, where prosecutors claim he tried to abduct the girl while her father was with her.

Police swooped on the scene and arrested him on the spot.

Abdelrazig appeared before magistrates on July 15 and has since been remanded in custody, with a court date set for August 26 at Manchester Crown Court.

The case has sparked renewed anger over the government’s handling of the asylum system, with critics slamming the cost of migrant accommodation and questioning vetting procedures.

Starmer’s Digital ID Plan Resurfaces Amid Migrant Chaos

The shocking case comes as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is reportedly seriously considering a national digital ID system to crack down on illegal immigration and improve access to public services.

Downing Street is said to be exploring plans to assign every individual a unique digital identifier — not a physical card, but something akin to the NHS app — to check eligibility for work, healthcare, housing, and more.

Starmer, known as a tech advocate during his days as Director of Public Prosecutions, has long pushed for modernising government systems.

Support for the proposal is said to be growing rapidly inside Cabinet. A major Tony Blair Institute paper, commissioned by Starmer’s top aide Morgan McSweeney, argues digital ID is key to reducing illegal immigration and easing pressure on overstretched services.

Insiders claim the idea has already won over big hitters like Health Secretary Wes Streeting, Technology Secretary Peter Kyle, and Chancellor of the Duchy Pat McFadden.

One senior Labour figure told The Times:

“I think it is now coming. Yvette [Cooper] is no longer resistant. They’re working through the how.”

Another added:

“There is overwhelming support in the parliamentary party.”

A digital ID system was last used in Britain during WWII but was scrapped in 1952. Now, amid rising public concern over immigration and pressure from Reform UK, Labour appears ready to bring it back — this time in digital form.

They want this for a long time. Now they can use the migrant excuse to force it.

And how exactly will digital ID prevent these scum from kiddie fiddling? its in their DNA total b/s

It will work the exact same way as the new knife / blade laws introduced last week.

It worked a treat. Only 5 stabbed to death in London over the weekend.

and what exactly are "community leaders"  Do us expats in Thailand have "community leaders"  No , of  course not

It seems to imply that these savages have no respect for our laws or police  will only do as they are told when it come from there own kind. Totally unacceptable   Either send them home or string them up, enough is enough

.  No need to remand him in custody either, just put him on a plane straight back to where he comes from, even chartering one just for him would work out cheaper in the long run but if there is a spare seat or two send a few more with him

It doesn't.  Labour (Blair) has been trying to introduce digital id for decades now which is obviously not required or wanted in a high trust society so the only way this can be introduced is if that society is changed into a 3rd world low trust hellhole so the people demand it.  I think its safe to presume that the government has no intention of fixing this situation and in fact seem to be doing everything they can to worsen it.   So much so it feels like they are engineering a situation where the only possible outcome is violence at this point.

On the ‘mentalist front’ believing a law will  reduce knife crime within one week of being promulgated is surely up there with among the very finest nonsense,

If they have one.....I assume all legal migrants do.

But this is about the fuss over national ID's that keeps raising it head every few years.

Abdul, Mohammed and Mustapha Cooncilhouse.

Certainly not George Finch, elected leader of Warwickshire Council.

For the mentalists that, either cannot, will not, or just simply refuse to understand.

Criminals, of whatever ilk, do not give a monkeys about laws.

of course they don't. even the death penalty did not stop murder.  We should bring it back though, as part of my newly revised two tier justice idea which includes public floggings , the stocks, and of course deportation, all for foreigners

I don't really have a problem with ID cards probably quite handy and would save me routing out my passport or driving licence every now and then, I just don't see how it wiil stop the boats or the nonces, And it will cost a fortune to implement

Sorry, my fault for going off at a tangent......I just don't see why there has to an ID card, new systems, endless wrangling over data protection.....courts cases.

Passport can be on your phone, or a photocopy....no need to lug the original around......it can be free to issue for say state pensioners, people on benefits, children under 18....etc......and eveyone has a unique code.....change your passport keep the same number.

Those on benefits need not be included as they should have no need to have a passport.  Pensioners should indeed get theirs free but presumably that would soon be withdrawn when the money gets tighter which probably won't be long

Nothing will reduce knife crime whilst the police are constantly criticised  for stopping and searching black kids  who are most likely to carry one and indeed most likely to be the victims of knife crime.    Are you ok with that?

On the matter if the subject Sudanese ‘Asylum Seeker’.

Deport him back to Sudan and let them the Sudanese authorities deal with him,

They will probably recruit him into the militias running wild in Darfur. They can promise him access to all the young girls he wants and joining his fellow countrymen in the mass murder and rape of people.

Solutions have been found, and they are much broader than ‘stop and search’.

They've been in power a year and the number of illegal migrants is hitting record levels after they promised to stop the boats.

Based on their previous failures its not wrong to think  that this law will have no effect either.

Passport can be on your phone,

A passport is primarily a travel document and many Countries passports are not deemed suitable as an acceptable form of ID *

* As an example. Try opening a UK bank account with a Nigerian Passport.
