USA Real Street Address from USA2ME or Other Company

Featured Replies

I was looking at various ways to get and keep a valid real street address if living overseas.  I came across USA2ME.  Seems legitimate and useful.  I am not sure how acceptable it may be for various foreign official agencies but it seems reasonable and says it will work for all carriers so one can get mail there and they will forward it to wherever you want, even overseas.  Does anybody have any experience with this company or others?

Thanks

Appears legit, but there is a caveat... look under FAQs, question regarding Form 1583. It requires that you provide a physical US-based address. That is a requirement that all legitimate remailers and virtual mailbox providers have to comply with.

I have used https://ipostal1.com/ . They have locations just about everywhere in the US, not just Houston.

Just be aware, you may well get a 'street address' with all of these companies

However they all need to register as a CMRA and banks software will recognize it as such

So don't think that you will have a real street address

I've had USA2Me for a number of years. Never had a problem.  I forgot about having to have a US address..If that is what they ask,..I guess I used my friends home address in San Diego.   Or maybe just make one up?????

I am register to vote in Texas and when I file my taxes, I use this TX address, again, never had a problem.

The requirement for a physical address is most likely related to terrorism and/or money laundering. I think the form needs to be notarized. I think you are swearing to tell the truth. If so, lying would have serious consequences, if caught.

Yeah as a contractor that works on the road for long periods and in different states I am aware of over the years people trying to use some PO box or other thing.  They prohibited and sniffed out PO boxes a long time ago.  I agree with you that many agencies such as a State Registry of motor vehicles, the IRS, Banks, etc.  probably will not accept this place.
