You bumped into random people and they told you they were:

“very right wing, anti immigration, anti Labour, Pro Reform.”

LOL

It's true. I was one of them.

Nothing to do with fortune. It's a very conservative part of the world.

Not yer typical Cotswoldian protest group. Looks more like some ragtag hired imports.

Witney is in Oxfordshire, not in the Cotswolds.

The Cotswolds' spine runs southwest to northeast through six counties, particularly Gloucestershire, west Oxfordshire, and southwestern Warwickshire.

The Brits do it better than anyone else.

Probably not even Brits.

It is a funny thing but most of the British are conservative, with a small "c". The way news is served up globally in every home has made some take a stand on who they want visiting. Anyone who tells others to allow free speech while trying to stop in in their home country is now an unwanted character.

There might be a topic for that somewhere....whatever it is.

Good, who wants JD Vance visiting them - definitely lowers the quality of the envionment like dog excreta.   And the Cotswolds are very beautiful.

Why is this even a story? Who else spotted the pro-Palestianian supporter in the above pics?

Thanks to savvy Brits who understand what kind of politician that Vance really is.

Just checked population 3,000 ........ 60 protesters, 2,940 OK with him.

A peculiarly binary analysis of public opinion...

These small rural towns and villages often have a remarkable underground communications network. Perhaps the message went something like this: " if you fancy a laugh get down the pub, that chap from last night is back in there again, frothing at the mouth and banging on about how Trump is sent by God to save us! Buy him a pint and he is off like the Duracell bunny!"

Residents, taken aback by the extent of security, expressed their dissatisfaction.

Where is ICE when you need them.

Did he bring his wife?

Not sure why you are ‘laughing out loud’. Most people I speak to from the UK have had enough

Just look at the increasing popularity of Reform in opinion polls.

I wonder how all these pro Palestinian, anti Trump ‘locals’ would react if they housed a load of illegal immigrant's in their quiet picturesque village!

  • Popular Post

I don't see why JD Vance's family holiday should be allowed to disrupt the lives of so many locals.  I mean, couldn't his boss recommend a nice private island that caters to adults and kids?

LOL. There's a lot not to like.

And just think, when Trump finally expires, that's the next President of the United States.

I'm so glad I'm in Thailand and not in my country anymore.

This is wonderful, Vance is a clown, everything he says, everything he does is an embarrassment to the US. He's a sycophantic numskull who is being employed as an attack dog for Trump, and he's disliked everywhere he goes. You very rarely ever says something intelligent and most of the time his statements are pure nonsense.

Yes and especially conservative in that area as I found out.

Of course the Twitter weirdos who are too scared to make eye contact with anyone in an actual pub let alone speak to them believe what they hear in their anonymous online echo chambers.

They will get a massive shock at the next election. It's gonna be epic.

Sounds derogative and humiliating.👎

Apparently the Secret Service knocked on people’s doors and asked them about their ‘social media profile’.

The arrogance of this Gestapo 2.0 is truly astounding.

These were just random people I bumped into while keeping my own opinions to myself. Some of them were so right wing that even I was taken aback. And not one of them was remotely worried about speaking their mind about it. 😃

The feelings are very strong out there and not against the policies of the GOP.

Vance is a moron....no more ...no less.....like his boss!!

Well, CAN you or can you not wait? Not that I am sticking around to find out.

Oh, and while we're at it: you need to learn the difference between "credible" and "incredible"....

2% objecting.

Probably the same 2% that will vote for Labour at the next election.

I suspect you don't know him, or if you do you don't know him very well. Whatever you think of his views the one thing of which you can be assured is that he is most definitely not a moron. From humble beginnings he earned BA in political science and philosophy from Ohio State, and later a degree in jurisprudence at Yale. Prior to his academic career he served in the US Marine Corps.

Probably not all 60 from that village either. It seems to be quite common now for protesters with no skin in the game to travel around to get their mugs featured on social media.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got a free police escort there like the Anti Racist Protestors in Epping.

And now Vice President no less.

Meanwhile the bitter old barstool leftists call him a Moron from "Me Friend You" bar in Pattaya. 😄
